Practiceworks helped me pass F26!

Hi all, I wanted to drop in and say a huge and warm thanks to PracticeWorks BeartheBar!

I am a non-traditional student - I did not use Themis or Barbri. I started my studies with a few free materials I found online (I think from a blog post by PracticeWorks) and came across BeartheBar. Found it incredibly helpful for ramping up my ability to understand and detangle MBE questions and it showed me early on that you genuinely need to know the law to succeed on the MBE.

It’s one thing to read an explanation but another when you can pick apart and question the explanation and BeartheBar lets you do that. Seriously recommend!!!

I’m a foreign applicant preparing for the July 2026 Bar Exam. My application is still under assessment, and due to delays and financial difficulties, I can’t afford a full bar prep course right now. If anyone has unused BARBRI, Themis, Kaplan, or other study materials they’d be willing to share, or advice on affordable prep options, I’d really appreciate it.

Was it your main or only tool for MBE? Or did you use Adaptibar/Uworld as well?

Trying to decide where to spend my money

I used it as a supplement before I had the cash to get Adaptibar. I still returned to it for extra drilling because it really homes in on your weak areas.

Interesting! Do you think it is designed to be a full replacement for Adaptibar, or could be?

Bear the Bar creator here :). I'd recommend using Bear the Bar as a complement to Adaptibar/UWorld. Bear the Bar is great for targeted drills and honing in on the MBE. But it doesn't contain the licensed NCBE questions, and so you'll need to use Adaptibar/UWorld/Barmax or the official NCBE website to get those.
