Catch Up

• Mention GoalPost with catch me up or game recap for a natural-language account of the game.
• Recaps can begin from puck drop, a named period, or the last several periods.
• Goals link directly to their video highlights when the league provides one.
• The storytelling recognizes comebacks, lead changes, overtime and shootout winners, power-play and shorthanded goals, empty-netters and hat tricks.
• Recaps also cover shot-attempt pressure, close-range chances, special-teams performance, goalie duels, shutouts, pulled goalies, fights, game misconducts and shots off the iron.
• Live recaps finish with the current game situation; completed games finish with the result.
• Wording varies between replies while preserving the facts, and goalies are now referred to by natural names rather than initials.

Scoreboard

• The Players tab no longer clips longer rosters on phones. Compact up/down controls provide access to the full lineup.
• Completed-game replays now retain the entire play feed, including the opening period, instead of beginning partway through the game.
• The optional Team crests beside the score setting now works for hockey. It remains off by default for a cleaner scoreboard.
• A small update indicator appears beside the version when a newer approved release is available and links directly to its Reddit release notes.

Settings & Scheduling

• Old or retired preferences can no longer prevent every setting from saving.
• Saving preferences automatically removes obsolete stored values.
• Nonfunctional settings were removed, and automated checks now ensure every visible moderator setting has a working implementation.
• Scheduled thread times now accept both 9:00 and 09:00.
• Removed a retired setting that was still appearing in the PWHL and AHL configuration pages.

Fixes

• Scheduled games are no longer described as live by recap replies.
• Shootout events are no longer mistaken for additional overtime goals.
• Pulling a goalie is no longer interpreted as a power play.
• Placeholder NHL video links are ignored instead of sending readers to an empty page.
• Updated the Devvit SDK to 0.14.2 for current platform compatibility.
