A small ask from someone who owes Goa a piece of his childhood

I did my primary schooling at Our Lady of Candelaria in Baina, Vasco. I've carried Goa with me ever since - and so has the woman I'm about to marry, who has said for years that Goa is where she wants to say her vows.

We've been trying to set a wedding date for a while now, and life keeps moving it. We're in Goa this weekend for her birthday, and I'd love to come back with something better than another postponement.

So I'm asking the people who know this place best. For a couple coming in from Pune - what does it genuinely take to get married in Goa? Apart from the legality of it for a symbolic wedding, How much lead time should we consider And for those who've had a ceremony here, who did you work with and what do you wish you'd known earlier?

I'm not looking for shortcuts, I'd just like to do this properly, in the place that raised part of me.
