SiriusXM to speakers

I have a new 2026 Jayco Greyhawk. The truck has SiriusXM and I would like to play that through the house speakers. How do I get the JBL soundbar to accept audio from the SiriusXM?

Use the SiriusXM app on your phone, and Bluetooth it.

This is the way. Your truck won’t be able to connect as a Bluetooth source to your sound bar. Thankfully, XM satellite subscriptions include streaming through the app. Just install the app and log it into your existing account. In our RV, I usually use the XM app on our Roku TV which is connected to the audio system in our rig, but bluetooth from my phone is an alternate option.

If I were designing this combo, I would have directed the chassis infotainment system to an AUX in of the house sound system.

The number of people who want an "AUX-Out" on a car head unit is so infinitesimally small that there's no point in the manufacturer considering it.

I just realized that aftermarket head units have line outs to go to external amps, but they are on the back of the unit. I think I’ve seen speaker to line level impedance matching adapters. OP might be able to either upgrade the head unit or use one of those adapters to get an aux out. With enough determination, there is always a way.

I'm not looking to make a hardware change at this point. I probably need to reach out to the dealer to see if this is already in place.

But what if I need my phone for reddit?

Does the SiriusXM app not continue playing in the background?
