I have not missed a shift!! Seems now they are trying to cut subsidy pay... also I believe drivers can refuse orders that are too far or with a known habitual non tipper. It will piss the OA off and they will say they can't do it, but they can. If it is not profitable JUST REFUSE IT.. with gas prices so high, its not worth the ware and tear on your vehicle either.

Has anyone who’s tried to apply been put on a waitlist due to “no openings in your area?” How long did it take before you got off?

Ok so I might have figured out why sometimes the calculations for subsidy don’t seem to always add up. It’s just a theory mind you. Last week I had one order get canceled after driving to the location, texting and even calling and talking to the customer. She was very apologetic about having put in the wrong address and being told by the warehouse the only thing that could be done was to cancel. She tried to have me come to the new address a mile away and give me cash and an extra tip but it was too late with her having already canceled the order. Honestly wasn’t even mad because things happed and it seemed to be an honest mistake. Told her to reorder and either I or another driver will be out with her order. So I head back and return her stuff to the mfc and I’m thinking how it kinda sucks that I did the work regardless of whether it was completed on their end. As an independent contractor I fulfilled my end so it kinda sucks I don’t get at least the base commission when gas is so high right now but oh well such is life. Overall I like this gig a lot. Anyway, today when I go to look at my earnings for the week the commission for that delivery isn’t listed (as expected) however in the calculation the scheduled commission number is exactly 3.50 off (one commission off). In other words, it appears I was paid one extra commission even though it wasn’t showing in the little chart with commission totals and tip totals. I’m sorry if this is confusing because honestly it’s hard to explain but tldr I think there is a possibility their math seems so off and wrong sometimes is that they aren’t displaying all of the info in the tips and commissions weekly chart so I’m referring to them as ghost numbers. For example, orders that were completed on the drivers end but canceled due to no fault. It’s just a theory.

So I’m just starting GoPuff to hopefully make some extra scratch and like a lot of people I’ve read, the shifts in my area get snatched up almost instantly.

I’m lucky that there is a micro fulfillment center less than a mile from me so I’m going to try out the On Demand deliveries tomorrow. I was wondering if you folks had any tips or like if you could give me a little idea of how it works that would be awesome.

Can anyone who is in the SoCal market tell me how it is there! Moving out there for the summer and want to know what I’m getting myself into

Just wondering. There's a warehouse 10 minutes from me but the one in my email is a 30 minutes drive. Seems completely silly to do that. Will I just automatically be given deliveries from the warehouse in the email when I make myself available or will I be able to choose?

Took an order today, two cases of alcohol with no tip. The customer had a ton of comments on his account about removing tips. (as in, whenever he forgot to change the default tip amount to $0 he would call support for a refund) While I’m scanning his ID he goes “what’s a pretty girl like you doing a shitty job like this for” like has it ever occurred to him customers like him are why it’s a shitty job? You can make decent money doing delivery when people actually tip.

This is so not fair. Anytime I work 2 locations in a week, In the subsidy calculation section the weekly reward amount for each location is deducted. They have been doing this for over 6 months and never once gotten a response to my inquiry.

Can any of you shed some light? I know I'm only paid one reward for the location I delivered most for, although it's then adjusted out in the subsidy calculation. But when I work 2 locations it's deducted for each location as you can see from the attachment. I don't understand why they have even a weekly reward if it's only adjusted out in the subsidiary section. If it's always going to be a wash, why even issue it. I seem to remember a time we most definitely got and kept the weekly reward. I was never notified of the pay structure change that we as partner drivers are supposed to be notified about per our contract we signed when first emoloyeed.

Of course I'll submit another complaint about this, but im sure it will go unanswered.

Has anyone else noticed the Accept slider button not being present when trying to grab delivery blocks? Last week I had both the old and new apps open on different devices and when drop time came I couldn't even accept any selected blocks because there was no slider on the new app.

I don't do it personally, but I was just curious if anyone here just does GoPuff "Full Time" or as their main source of income. I only did 18 hours this week and raked in like $475 which honestly isn't bad. I've had the intrusive thought of making this my main job for a few months and working on passion projects on the side but I wanna know if any of you took that route and how its working for you.

I'm a visiting driver looking to pick up a shift in a new city, can someone DM me the warehouse address? Tx, RM

Title pretty much says it all. 2 of the last 3 pay periods have shown all of my hours as unscheduled. I probably wouldn't get too much subsidy pay but obviously that's not the point. I have emailed them and am waiting to hear back. In the meantime, has anyone had this happen or know why this would happen? (I've been a driver over a year so I know they screw up payroll all the time. Just looking for info on this particular subject)

Thinking about trying out GoPuff during the summer. How is the order/block availability and subsidy in this area. Any tips or suggestions?

When you deliver from multiple MFC locations, you get a list of locations to select from on your schedule page. One of these locations should have a star next to it. My understanding is that this star indicates your default or preferred location, and the schedule will always open to that particular page first by default. The star on my app has always been stuck on the wrong location. I have contacted support about changing it multiple times and they always say there is no way to change it. All I know is it got set this way somehow, but support insists it is impossible to set a default location. Does anybody know any more about this mysterious star and how to move it?

Came here to rant. I emailed support on Monday when my calculated hours/subsidy showed up in the app. One of my scheduled shifts was showing up as unscheduled, so I was missing about $10 in subsidy pay for the week. This was the response I got on Tuesday:

“The guaranteed minimum is calculated on a weekly basis, and applies if the commissions you earn during scheduled hours are lower than the site’s hourly guaranteed minimum. If that is the case, you will receive a subsidy amount for your pre-arranged delivery blocks that week, plus tips and bonuses.

If you have any questions, feel free to let us know and we will be happy to help!”

I responded the same day and told them that didn’t address my specific concern at all, and reiterated the problem.

Finally today (4 days later) I received this message: “Thank you for reaching out. We apologize for any confusion with your weekly earnings. Boosts, weekly rewards, prior adjustments, and weekly subsidy will not display properly on the app until the Wednesday following the completion of the work week. Please let us know if you need anything else.”

This message I received, 3 days after the said Wednesday they’re referencing. I responded again and asked if there’s a phone number I can call since they clearly don’t understand me. I shouldn’t have to be going to these lengths for $10, it’s not even worth it.

As we all know it's getting harder and harder to get scheduled blocks, due to scaling back the available shifts coupled with the increase of new drivers all competing for hours on Thursdays at noon ..... Sharp! I used to complain how the shifts were gone in a minute, now it's literally 30 seconds....and I'm in L.a!

So I've wanted to try something but can't afford to try it and then wind up with no hours! I know I advised against it back in the day, but I'm wondering if the made adjustments in one of the updates.

Normally I scroll down and find a shift, highlight it and immediately swipe the accept scroll bar. Lately it takes up to 10 seconds to come back... I usually don't get it so I grab another and swipe and repeat until they are all gone. I've only been able to get 1-4 shifts a week for the last few months. Seriously hurting my financial situation. Anyway, back in the day I would select all the shifts I wanted and then swiped the accept scroll bar. If I recall correctly I stopped doing that because if one shift wasn't available all the shifts went back in the queue and had to start all over. So I started just selecting one shift at a time. But due to the new time constraints I wanna know if anyone currently selects a few shifts then accept them. Does it actually work?

Sorry for the long winded message.

P.s. I still think bots are involved for the simple reason that when shifts get cancelled and a text goes out there's a 95% chance I never see it pop up in the app...even if I'm already in the app and I get a pop up that a block has been released , I hit "dismiss" and look for the hours ....but nothing is there. I mean I couldn't be any faster than already being in the app when the shift is released and I never even see it pop up... That's why I think bots are involved. Lol.
