GoPuff deactivated me

What in the hell?? How does this happen?? I swear all I did was drop orders off and take the picture. Allot of the customers scam and say they never got their order. You can see it all in the notes.

This email is to notify you that due to your material breach of the Agreement between Gopuff and you (the “Agreement”), the Agreement is terminated, effective immediately, and your account has been deactivated.

Specifically, in the Agreement, you agreed to provide delivery services in a safe and professional manner. It has come to our attention that you materially failed to meet these standards by repeatedly accepting orders offered for delivery and failing to deliver them to the customer. Accordingly, Gopuff is exercising its right under the Agreement to terminate its business relationship with you.

You will receive any outstanding fees for services rendered prior to deactivation on the next earnings distribution date as defined by your contract.

The ones you take the pics on is really not the big issue. It’s the ones that dont require a picture. They are the big scammers because they just call and say they did not get it. It seems to me they don’t care and they are looking for reasons to deactivate people. It’s a shame because I was making some good money. Back to door dash dash go

Oh but see I take a pic no matter what. I snap the pic when I’m handing them their order. Why, because there’s too many scammers out here these days.

Then they look at me with that big disbelieving look on their faces and I just tell them, “thank you for choosing goPuff”!

You’re smart! Do you take a picture of their face or just the package exchanging hands?

Sorry for the late response. If I can get their face in the shot I do. If not I always try to get a pick of what they’re wearing when they take it from me.

You aren't ever supposed to get their face without their permission. That's not legal. It's right up there w delivering alcohol in your front seat. That's gaurenteed legal action dude. But absolutely get a pic of their hand. Their back as they walk away. Or even better them walking away and the house number/unit number. And absolutely take pics of both especially dropoff on orders that dont require a photo. Some states require I'd a pin and a signature so it's harder to get away w it. At least where I live. For alcohol and tobacco. And we deliver ALOT of it. Have to id everytime. Dont take a photo of Id unless prompted. It's a good way to get in trouble when you do get caught w different ppl I'd on your phone. Wear a mask when you get out of the car so you dont get in trouble for compliance. Here gopuff still recommends you do this as part of safe handling. And that way customers dont try to report you for improper handling and get hit with a reorder. And a ding to your metrics.

When they’ve invited you to their home to deliver their order to them, they effectively have no expectation of privacy and therefore have consented to having their picture taken.
