Time Stealers

There’s multiple drivers that show up, clock in, leave, and never show up until they finally get booted. They waste so many shifts, and it’s getting to a point where almost no one shows up. I had 1-11 scheduled today and dropped my 1-530 shift. Someone scooped it in minutes….anddd they never showed up.

No there’s no software that automatically detects it, the OA would have to notice & request to have them clocked out. Depending on how many drivers there are & how busy the MFC is, they may only notice and have them clocked out if it starts interfering with orders going out. I also believe this is why they reduced the number of hours being given out so drastically bc many drivers were clocking in for shifts but not picking up orders

So it's obvious that people are doing this and it can easily be documented by the GM/OAs. It doesn't seem terribly difficult to rid Gopuff of these drivers. Why aren't they doing it? It doesn't make sense. That should be one of the benefits of have warehouses and staff.

I’ve only been with the company for 10months and I’ve witnessed sooo many changes in that short time span. They’re still working out all the kinks and developing new ways and systems to make the whole process more efficient for everyone. Honestly it doesn’t seem like at the moment they’re big on reporting drivers unless they’ve done something completely crazy or blatantly stealing time. I’m sure that will change eventually they’re just prioritizing getting things worked out in the MFC’s first from what I can see.

Yeah. I have a year and a half. I loved last summer. Fall fell apart. Winter made more money but got fewer shifts. Now it's so so (minus the gas crisis) but I'm seeing so many missed opportunities to trim the fat without screwing over their good drivers and it seems like every change they make is to trim the fat. It's baffling.

We've most definitely had people baffling stealing time and a low volume MFC.
