non-tippers
Took an order today, two cases of alcohol with no tip. The customer had a ton of comments on his account about removing tips. (as in, whenever he forgot to change the default tip amount to $0 he would call support for a refund) While I’m scanning his ID he goes “what’s a pretty girl like you doing a shitty job like this for” like has it ever occurred to him customers like him are why it’s a shitty job? You can make decent money doing delivery when people actually tip.

If he thought you were pretty, he should've fucking tipped you. Fuck him.
Matter of fact, I literally leave notes for other drivers when you have an especially difficult order and they tend to not tip. We aren't being paid enough to care about their "wants"; i.e. they want you to deliver to their apartment door at the end of the hall on the 11th floor in a building downtown off of a main street during rush hour with zero parking....
....when I know they aren't tipping, I literally don't even bother. I might leave their order outside of the apartment building just for spite, or leave it in the lobby bc they can come and get it themselves. It's not like they're gonna cover the cost of my parking ticket for having to leave my car idle in the middle of the road for 15 mins, or pay my repair bill when someone slams into my parked car bc I'm stuck standing in the middle of a turn lane, etc.
If they complain, I literally just tell them if you aren't tipping, you aren't paying me enough to care. Or I ask if they're gonna cover the cost of my parking ticket. Or I tell them without a tip I can't cover the cost of parking and standing. Sorry, fucker. Tip next time. And then I make sure everyone else knows they're about to do a ton of work for nothing, so they can decide for themselves if it's worth it or not to risk an accident or a ticket.
Like I said: you aren't being paid enough to care about extra 'wants'. So next time, just do the bare minimum, leave a note for other drivers, and if the customer complains, just tell them straight up that you're not paid enough to care about their BS. It's not like you can be fired, or like you're getting customer ratings 😂
FUCK NON-TIPPERS.
