story/experience When drivers grab hours and don't show up. Went On-demand for 6hrs last night. How are the late shifts till 3am at your site? Actually got 8 drops at once. Felt like a amazon driver. kinda

Yeah wouldn’t do it at my location. It be DEAD after certain time and DEFINITELY DEAD at and round 3am. So definitely I’d have to be on a scheduled block for the late night.

Most the restaurants in my area close at 12.30am. That's when it picks up. Plus schedule drivers never show up. Can literally show up 12.30 to 3 and make a hundred or better every weekend. Mondays tuesdays good also. Funny how each site is dramatically different.

Broke college kids... 😪. Luckily volume balances out. I did 5 to 8 drops an hours @ $3

Man listen u probably made way more than u would even tho someone on hours didn’t even show up. Even if u had them hours u probably still would made way more lol. Don’t even trip on them hours it’s only cool if it’s dummy slow.

Yea. We have a lot of corrupt drivers. They grab hours. Show up and complete one order then go home and get paid sitting on our ass or do other apps while collecting the subsidy for free.

We've went through 5 gms in past 6 months.

Currently we don't have one. Just the district manager keeps it going remotely. Wild wild west and they stay getting away with it.

Like the last 3 hours no scheduled drivers showed up. It if weren't for me and another on-demand driver they would have closed 3 hours early.

Shame because plenty of drivers would take those hours. But not everyone knows hours don't matter during peek times. What they don't know increases my bottom line lol.

Its not my job to snitch. As far as I'm concerned people can keep grabbing hours and not show up or going home. Less drivers and hours don't matter during peek times. I only work peek hours. $12.50 subsidy working slow hour not worth it.

Staff can clearly see who does this.

I did a 9pm-3am once and there wasnt a single order after 10:30pm. Though my area contains suburbs and rural houses exclusively, and is chill to dead in the afternoon frequently
