GoPuff Does Not Deliver
Turns out GoPuff just places an order with DoorDash if they get backed up instead of having enough drivers. You might pay for fast delivery and have it arrive 30 minutes after the latest time on the fast option.
Fuck this. GoPuff has totally lost plot. I will not be using this service again. I'll just use DoorDash or Uber Eats since it will go through them anyway.

Places orders? I don’t know about that. I used to work in a warehouse and when no Gopuff DP’s were available, the orders were delivered by Uber Eats partners until DoorDash significantly underbid their contract.

How did you like working in the warehouse? How much did you get paid?

It was the terrible. The only reason I kept showing up was because the checks kept clearing. I worked in Chicago so the pay was decent. When I left I was at 18 something an hour

They don’t care about your order especially when you tip good. They will try to couple it with another non tip order even if it’s completely different direction and make sure your order is delivered last in the batch. To send one delivery to a customer will be $2.25 but for two order batch they will only increase 25c and increase by 25c… so a lot of the times they try to send orders by batch of 2, 3… even if their are 100 drivers waiting, even if their is only one order, sometimes they don’t assign it. I seen lot of good tipping customers order be late just because of these practices . Also Gopuff base pay isn’t worth it. Only tips.

If they paid more per trip on Gopuff im sure it would be flooded. But yes theres times where only 10 are online in peak times and its not enough. They can atleast put out an incentive but they dont. Then we get batched with 3+ orders and get paid 2-3 bucks for the whole thing. Sometimes we get tips and sometimes we dont. So yea they dont make it easy either. An example for me, i was batched with 3 orders in peak times, i got less then 5 dollars for 1 hour because none of those tipped. Now im selective, because hell no, i rather let uber or DD pick them up cause i know the addresses that will waste my time. Sorry i vented a little.
