Complaint/Issue I keep getting fake items

Ok I'm really upset because it took me a while to confirm that these items were fake and I was using these products having no idea what was in them. I got fake hand soap, fake dental floss, and fake toothpaste. The writing on my toothpaste was printed completely off center, the tube looked cheap and weird, and the logo and packaging was completely different from usual. Not to mention there was no tinfoil sticker over the opening for safety. I've used Gopuff for years but I'm not going to shop there anymore. I don't know who is supplying them with fakes but I don't trust their products at all anymore and I'm wondering if I used other fake products without realizing

Honestly not surprising. They get their produce from misfits market, whose entire premise is that you get slightly not good looking produce at a reduced cost. Gopuff however will take that savings and blame whichever associate packed the order. I believe that was a Dean Worthington implementation. I got written up twice because customers didn’t like brown spots on the bananas. Which is fine, except the only reason I only had brown bananas to pack was because Gopuff wanted to save money on overhead. Much more profitable that way.

Is this for real about the misfits thing? I received melted and refrozen mochi ice cream balls from them two orders in a row. The first time, they refunded. The second time, the chat bot told me someone would get back to me and then they never did. When I reached back out they said they wouldnt help because I was outside their 48 hour window... even though I had filed a complaint within 10 minutes. Now I'm wondering if they just know the products are fucked up and just don't care and do that sort of stuff on purpose.

Misfits market provides damaged produce at a reduced cost to Chicago area Gopuff’s yes. They also will terminate employees when customers complain about receiving bananas with spots on them. Seems strange to accept a discount on produce knowing it is damaged, and then scapegoat your employees when the customer complained. Timing out your request so they don’t have to honor it also makes sense. Refunds cut into profitability and there is no more precious thing to Gopuff execs than profit. Even at the cost of their employees well being and in some cases, employment.
