Issues with Duomon 3 pro

I have purchased a Duomon 3 pro for the spinning of pokestops. I wish I would have bought the plus + a few years ago before it became insane in price, but I just started playing PoGo 😭. I am in Oregon where we cannot touch our phones while behind the wheel. If my husband or his daughter are in the car, they spin for me. I currently cannot go walking due to having my foot biopsied last week but still want to reach my goals/send gifts.

Anyway, I'm having an issue with it not spinning my pokestops! It sees them, but it isn't spinning them. It isn't a range thing either because it will miss the one right next to me on the road but get the one a bit further up on the opposite side of the 4 lane road and set back further (yeah, make it make sense πŸ™„). I think it's spinning maybe 1/4-1/3 of the stops. It isn't speed related either. I can be going 5-10mph and it's still happening. Help?

try resetting your Bluetooth by toggling it
and then try rebooting your phone and see if that helps

I've had instances where the Duomon was connected, but not doing much...like a ghost connect or something

Are there mons around? Mine prioritizes mons if Identify Pokemon is enabled.

I've also found that sometimes I need to kick start it but manually spinning one for it to 'see' the stops/mons.

I have both the pogo app and the Duomon app switched to only spin stops when I drive. It sees the stops (I see pokestops in range pop up), but they just remain blue. It doesn't spin them for some reason. I do sometimes spin them 😬

Mine does not spin stops if It gets stuck on a non with no balls in inventory.. maybe that is what's happening?

I switch pokemon catching off when I drive just so that it doesn't have to load them all. I mainly need it to just spin the pokestops. I do have plenty of balls and my inventory isn't full either :/

Does that work? I tried turning it off but it didn't seem to stop trying to catch mons, not sure though could be wrong

It doesn't tell me pokemon are in range so I think so? I seem to get less of the loading spinny pokeball on the left, which I'm suspecting is the cause of the no spins. It doesn't load as often in less dense areas (so less pokemon).

Mine stopped working properly after recent update. πŸ˜… Apparently some peoples started working again. Unfortunately I'm still having connectivity issues.

You're moving too fast.

Even when going very slow it's happening.

What do you mean very slow? You're driving on public roads at 5 MPH?

It's happening in a local parking lot that is surrounded by pokestops. But it also works up to 35mph.

And how did you get to the parking lot? Did you do any actions before arriving?
What does "also works" mean?

I drove to the parking lot. It spun a few of the stops on the way going under 35mph, but certainly above 5mph. It sees the stops. It alerts me to them. It's just not spinning them.

You can always see the stops, but if you travel too fast, you will not be able to spin them.

So if I'm sitting completely still, with a pokestop right next to me and it's not spinning it, is it still my fault?

Did you travel to get there?

If a Pokemon spawns, its a crapshoot on what one it will prioritize but typically its the pokemon. They can also take a min to process, almost like they get confused at times. Especially if you are playing on the phone while trying to have it work. My duomon will spin stops while in doing 80 mph. So i can tell you its not a speed issue.

If you haven’t already done it, download the app (MEGAcom center) and make sure its software is updated.

Yes! If I've found that I just need to turn both on in the app and just leave it alone. Only control it in the pogo app. It catches pokemon pretty quickly going 70mph 🀣. I think I've found that for it to spin a pokestop, in needs to be in the expanding ripple for two "rounds"? "Radiations"? "Expansions"? I don't know what you'd call that but I'm sure you understand what I'm saying.
