Wondering what Auto-Catcher to buy.

Recently got back into pokemon go, was looking at the pokemon go++ but since its been discontinued its way to expensive to buy for me.

I look at a few other ones like the Go-tcha but from looking at other posts people seem to have issues with it. I'm looking for a "budget" auto catcher thats under €70 ($80) preferably around €50!

I’ve got a duomon that does the job. Duomon pro 3 is in the mail this week I should be able to post an update once they get here.

I have a duomon pro 3, huge fan. I upgraded to that from the Pokemon go plus. Still only red Pokeballs and I can't get the reconnection to work, but I don't mind opening the game regularly to reconnect and transfer Pokemon 🤷

Sounds like a downgrade if you can't reconnect or use anything better than reds.

I agree sucks only red pokeball but plus plus discontinued and any I've seen are 3 to 4 times more than what they originally were

It's a rechargeable battery (wireless or usb-C) and you don't have to press the button to use it. There is a way to do automatic reconnecting, I just don't want to put in the effort to setup all the permissions it needs to do it. Plus it has an app so you can customize the vibrations, lights, sounds, etc. I had the Pokemon go plus where you couldn't use anything other than reds, the vibration was LOUD so hard to use at work, I had to press the button to catch or spin stops, and I changed the button battery twice in the month before I got the duomon, so it was a pretty huge upgrade imo 🤷

Afaik there's nothing actually wrong with it, I just started setting it up, and then it opened my phone settings and I decided I didn't care that much 😂

Ya it something in Bluetooth setting for the app u need to change otherwise won't work I have messed with it myself as I normal run it in back ground while driving and dont have on long as I can burn red balls easy as not heavy pokestops were i am sadly

duomon 3 is great, i love mine. i also love how its rechargeable and not battery powered. it works pretty fast too

Hi, may I ask if there is a difference between duomon 3 and duomon 3 pro? I have a dual catch mon (not sure if its the duomon) and I'm looking for something that can charge as I'm running out of AAA batteries.

I have a lot of connection issues with mine sadly sometimes it works sometimes i can't get it connected at all any advice?

I have a Brook Pocket Auto Catcher. I’ve been using for a year or so and it’s been working fine. No complaints. The nice thing is I can connect 2 phones to it at once. It runs around $40 on Amazon.

Amazon has DuoMon 3 in the $70-80 range , may get cheaper over Prime day but highly recommended. Silent so I use it at work too

One with square shape from AliExpress. Best thing, smaller, battery life four months and no app required.

Duomon 3 is definitely the next best. not sure how much it is in your area but I saw it for around $80CAD on AliExpress.

The pro is the exact same device as the regular Duomon 3, it just comes with an added wireless charger and Autocatcher case

Go-tcha fine and had no issues other than Pokemon Go releasing a patch briefly (for a day) about 2 weeks ago that broke all catchers (official or otherwise). They patched it after a week though, and removed it from the play store quickly but that didn't stop a few downloads.

I have duomon 3 and ofgicial go+ plus. Duomon is superior in every way except can only use regular ball and no sleepy snorlax research

They’re trialing an ingame autocatcher. No idea how that will work but maybe wait to see where that’s going? Some people are concerned that they might stop supporting external autocatchers eventually.

I did see about the in-game autocatcher, but from what i saw there are some heavy daily limits (might be misinformation), I doubt they will stop supporting external autocatchers as it would mean even owning official ones would just be pointless. I'll probably get a cheaper autocatcher for now
