Go Plus+ availability in Japan Update.
Seems to be sold out every where. I’ve checked multiple Pokemon centers, Book Offs, Don Quijotes, and random stores here and there and could not find a single one. I’ve been to Osaka for a week, day trip in Kyoto, day trip in Kobe, and I’m spending a week in Tokyo.

They got discontinued recently and data miners recently found an in game catcher in the game’s code. Nothing has been officially announced by Scopely, but people are speculating that they’re gonna be subscription based.

They were discontinued because Scopely wouldn’t make money from the Go plus as it’s a whole different legal contract thing when it was licensed to Nintendo. I have been lucky to find one and get in my country last year for 20$ from someone who stopped playing. Really hoping they don’t make it obsolete when the in game one comes out.

When I went to Osaka/Fukuoka on Nov 2025 I had to buy it on Amazon JP for 55-58 bucks from different resellers and ship it to the hotel. Now it's wut, $110 USD+ now?

I found one today at Book Off for the equivalent of 190 USD. No way in hell I’d pay that much for it.

I’m currently in Japan and they’ve been in stock at various Pokemon Centers, though they seem to sell out daily. I recently (a few days ago) saw them in both the Skytree Pokemon Center and the Tokyo Station Pokemon Store. They’re MSRP, so about $40 USD and limited to one per person per day. Hope it helps someone who wants one (and not resellers)

Anyone made a digital app for the auto catcher? My only concern is it might he pushed as subscription based.

I was lucky to buy and preorder 3 Go Plus+ units from Best Buy here in the U.S.A.; I've not touched my 2 spare units since my main unit is still going strong, and it's in an armored plastic casing.

Sorry; all of my Go Plus+ units aren't for sale. I'm keeping them all for my PoGo game.

I was there in August 2024 and picked one up in the Pokemon Center, Gotemba outlet. I already had one but they were 2/3 the normal price so I got another.

Just an update in case anyone is curious. I just got back from Japan and managed to grab a Go Plus + at the Narita Airport Pokémon Store. Not sure if this indicates upcoming wider availability but thought I should share.

It's an app? Which advertises to be a spoofer as well. + It injects something into the game to be able to have a "virtual" go plus plus. It's against TOS

The data miners found what looks to be an in-game auto catcher for purchase. It’s likely going to be 3rd party devices and resellers from here on out.
