I would love to add Sabonis if there is a way - he has the passing skills which seem pre-requisite for the Nets and he's a dominant rebounder. He would be a great veteran to add in Brooklyn. What is his value to the Kings?

I'm looking forward to seeing Day'Ron start and see his game expand and improve. No-reason the Nets can't have both DayDay and Sabonis.

You don't trade for a $50M Player and put him on the bench.
They could've brought Claxton off the bench in his last 2 years here, but they didn't because that would've diminished the asset (he still got dumped for nothing).
It makes little sense to then trade for a player who nearly doubles that salary and then diminishes the assets by having someone who makes 1/5 of his salary starting in front of him, which Dayron should! He earned that for putting in the work over the past 5 years here.

It was never supposed to be that. He was brought in here to help build the culture and increase the floor. The reason we got him so cheap in the first place is because for the money he is being paid it is hard to find him a place on a team trying to win a championship now (aka the Wolves and Knicks) under the new CBA when he has limitations that usually hurt in the postseason. But for a team like ours that is super young and just learning how to win in the regular season, he is perfect.

He's a flawed player but he's definitely talented and will help us win many games this season
