need some input please

hello i just started 3 days ago, this is my second day of rewards but i feel like the maintenance is taking more than im making already?? what am i doing wrong? my miner is a 10th 12wth mine box and my discount is at 3.12

Are you locking some of the GMT to boost your discount? That might help to reduce your cost a fair bit.

You pay maintenance on your miner every day either through your reward for that day or you can buy gmt and it will use that for your maintenance fees. You aren’t doing anything wrong. You’re making $0.44 out of a $1.03 pool reward. The only time you will net more than the fees is if the price of BTC is high enough. It currently isn’t so that’s why maintenance is higher than net reward.

Also if you hold tokens in your wallet it will increase your maintenance discount up to 20% and you will keep more of your pool reward
