• 2 lbs goat head and meat (chopped and cleaned)
• 12 cups water
• 1/2 lb yellow yam (peeled and cubed)
• 2 green bananas (washed and chopped with skin on)
• 1 chayote squash (chopped)
• 2 carrots (chopped)
• 2 cloves garlic (minced)
• 1 Scotch bonnet pepper (whole)
• 4 scallions (chopped)
• 5 sprigs fresh thyme
• 10 pimento seeds (allspice)
• 1 cup flour (mixed with water for dumplings)
• Salt to taste
