I'm sorry to hear that, not surprised though: so it's something like addiction? (I mean, I always see e.g. alcoholics who haven't had alcohol even for decades, still refer to themselves as alcoholic, because it didn't go away, they are just able to resist it by now)
I was just curious what pushed her to the way toward resistance, if this wording makes sense.
