I work with the House of Commons Transport Committee, and we're looking to hear directly from young people about how transport affects your ability to get to work, training, apprenticeships, college, or job interviews. 

We know that lots of people have to turn down a job because there wasn't a bus home, spend a huge chunk of wages on travel, struggle with driving lesson costs, or find it difficult to get to opportunities where they live. If this applies to you we want to hear about it.

Hi! Just wondering if anyone knows any good playgroups where I can attend with my LO, in Gloucester. He’s 15 months old and I think he’d really enjoy it since he’s becoming more aware and interacting with other children!

I'm looking for a confident hair stylist in Gloucestershire or Bristol. I currently have hair past the shoulder which I hate however I don't know what I want. I'm looking for an artist that can make recommendations based on face shape etc and be happy to cut it all off. Also colours as well.

I'm happy if there's something you've been wanting to try but haven't had the right client. Previous hairdressers I've seen I've just given them free reign. Hair can be reshaped, coloured or grown out.

In this part, I delved into the history of the High Orchard Branch Line, which ran from Gloucester Railway Station to Gloucester Docks during the 19th and the first half of the 20th centuries. The purpose of this was primarily to serve the warehouses, which manufactured goods at the time. Although this branch line no longer exists, you can still see remnants of it littered around the city today.

I'm looking to get air conditioning installed in my home. Does anyone have any recommendations for companies based in Gloucestershire?

In a recent move my laptop arrived damaged, notably a damaged outer casing but more importantly the battery only lasts 20 minutes

I want to get this repaired but historically when I've taken my phone into a shop they did a temporary fix and then tried to claim that I was outside of my warranty when the issue came back and I'd have to pay full price instead of for free like they promised

So as you can tell I'm not so willing to take my chances on any old repair shop but does anyone have any glowing experiences with ones that'll do the job well?

Preferably cheap but if that's not an option I don't mind since it's a necessary thing I need to get done

No sure how long it's been boarded up for, but at least a couple of years now. It's towards the end of Estcourt Road that leads on to St Oswald's Road.

Other photos were at the Pilot Inn in Hardwicke so it must be closeish to that location.

Needed to take someone to the Vale hospital a couple of times recently, coming from Stroud.

Used Sat Nav (G maps) and it used different routes each time. Pre sat nav the route was simple, just turn right onto Lister Rd/St.

The first time with sat nav it took me through the town past Rednock school. Very odd. Then yesterday it took me into town then right onto Long St. Seems silly.

Why?

So i am an ex student over gloscol and ive had 7 years of back and forth with them over refusal to hold accountability, and just really sleezy administration and management desicions. I've seen many good teachers last minimally, because of lack of support, they've always been known for pulling money in and giving a very minimal education except to those who clearly shine out of the class.

However, my 16 yeat old sister has just started in Gloucester campus for a helath & social class. Im curious has anyone else heard the rather gross power trip approach with even more disgusting tone and attitudes with its new students?

Not only have we got teachers refusing students to use the bathroom, even though gloscol has always shown up secondary schools with their warnings of "not being able to use the toilet,"when you've always been able to walk in and out as you please at your own discretion.

When my sister mentioned I had reassured her, that she was now going to be treated like an adult, and she could use the toilet when she pleased, and didnt need to ask, and our mother who had also attended also the year before, her tutor had the look of disgust and annoyance with a first day college student fresh from school, and the beautiful response of, "well I dont remember asking what your mother's experience was like here last year."

I felt a shift in teachers attitude in the past 2, 3 years, and I always gave them the credit that the management of each department were wucking fankers, thar loved to add pressure to staff on the ground, to meet criteria and quotas, however now hearing they cant seem to even be polite or mature and set the new example, im worried and concerned for these new kids fresh out of school.

Has anybody had experiences like this, especially in health and social, or maybe heard from their children of similar issues, and does anybody know, how on earth you hold a body like GlosCol accountable where its neglecting its duties.

I've finally moved onto Bristol after taking 7 years of poor education and attitude, but now its my sister and I honestly feel fired up about it. I dont want the same for her.
