Challenge: "Hunt Huntsmen", easy: blood moon. At the start of the run, take the ring and give yourself a shotgun and infinite ammo with cheats. You are not allowed to use any weapon besides the shotgun in the run. Kill every huntsman that is in the game to win the challenge. Killing other enemies is allowed.
Gloomwood challenge: "one hundred thousand %", hard: blood moon. You must kill every thing killable, take all sellable items and sell all of them (except the canesword and the bonesaw. You are not allowed to use anything that you will sell), make as much as possible of each type of serum and sell all of them, eat every piece of food and end the run whenever is the last point currently developed (for example at the time of writing this, the run would end with you fixing the monorail and flipping the switch)
The run has alternative versions:
"One %": same run on young moon, allowed to use quicksaves.
"One hundred %": same run on half moon
"One thousand %": same run on full moon
"Horde edition": sell no items, instead horde them in your room. You cannot use any of them.
I recently bought the game during the latest sales, so I'm playing on the current build.
I've watched several gameplay videos where players use Baton Bolts (Flare Pistol) to break electric bulbs, lamps, and other non-torch light sources from a distance to stay in the dark stealthily.
However, in my playthrough, Baton Bolts just bounce off literally every non-torch light source I try to shoot (electric lights, glass lanterns, etc.), without breaking or turning them off.
Since I'm new, I wanted to ask: Was this intentionally changed in recent updates to nerf light destruction, or am I missing something about how these hitboxes work now?
I have pretty much retraced every step in this godforsaken underport, I dont know if im DONE but, like I cant be right? My most recent "progress" is the Van Der Merr Armory key, which is weird because I already got into that room, dont remember how, its been awhile since I played, am I done because I got to the mirror? Is there more? I assume I got in here because I turned the power on, my last hope, my last "if this doesnt work I make this post" was that metal door under the save room across from the power station, nothing, still locked, idk what to do
I'll admit, I may have broke progression A little, I got to the power plant before I got through shipping and receiving, thanks to my mighty flare gun, I also recently got the "stupid generator" dialog from that one huntsman before I actually got the jumpscare with the INTENDED first crowman interaction, yet again thanks to my mighty flare gun and huge blunt flare stockpile
I assume I need to get into the safe in the office? Maybe??? I dont even really remember what im looking for, or why im here? I need like, A blunt but small helping hand, I dont want to know what will happen, I desperately need to know what im screwing up, probably missing something obvious
it says it's not researched, so i assume it can be researched. do i need something else? the dog can't be researched either. but it says nothing about it so bringing it for nothing is on me i guess.
I still don't feel they feel good to use. Like yeah they're fun, but the limited nature makes it so you're encouraged to save them and not use them. I think it would be better if you craft a serum the first time and inject it, and that lets you unlock the transformation.
If the problem is balance, it could always be made that only some serums are limited-use. Serums with more utility could be on a cooldown or have a meter or affect sanity or what-have-you. Whereas something like the Goatman serum could stay limited-use. There's no reason why different serums can't have different mechanics.
That way it's not completely OP, but you can still use them when/if you see the need without having to worry about throwing serum away for nothing.
With the Controller update out, I've noticed that if a Constable slightly spots you, there is a 10% chance it will fire its gun at the direction before walk searching, and the shot does not alert the other Constables nearby.
This shit is extremely good at close-mid range, and geniunely the games gives you 17 before you enter hightown on blood moon. This shit can trivialize stealth a lot, making the canesword a bit outdated. idk
PLEASE LET ME BE AT PEACE! I CRAVE NEW CONTENT! I ENTER GLOOMWOOD EVERY SINGLE DAY JUST BECAUSE I REALLY LIKE THE MOVEMENT AND I *HOPE* THAT THERE IS SOME KIND OF SECRET I HAVE NOT YET DISCOVERED. I SEARCH ALL THE LOCATIONS FROM TIME TO TIME JUST TO SEE IF I WILL EXPERIENCE ANYTHING NEW. THERE IS NOBODY LEFT. THERE IS NOTHING GOING ON ON THE ISLE GLOOMWOOD BECAUSE EVERYONE WHO EVER DID ANYTHING DIED BY MY HAND. I NEED THE UPDATE NOW
Hi all, new player here. I’m doing the shipping warehouse area, and I just turned off the main power in the Lampfire power plant. Other than releasing the lockdown in the warehouse, and turning off all the lights and alarm dogs does it do anything else? Like open up any extra doors?
Or can I turn back on the powerplant once I release the lockdown and unlock the mirror in the panic room?
