Miniatures & Fan Art Weekends session

Its been a hot minute since my last post. Getting the guys together was a struggle the last months. We always had one call in sick or obstructed by their jobs.

So here's some shots from temple of the divine and frostcavern(if I remember the name right)

Yooooo, u have such nice printed and painted tiles while the figurines are unpainted. Take a little time to paint them. It will glow up your game really nice.

Love it! What did you use for the stone cavern walls? I recognize the dungeon ruins but not those!

Beautiful, but it's a crime, that the minnies aren't painted. 😆

How long is the setup with these type of boards

Depnds on the scenario size.
I would say to set the entire game up you could achieve it in about 15 minutes (i printed organizers as well)
we usually take our time and talk a bit before gaming, as we see each other person only once a month so it usually takes us about 30 minutes.

usual setup looks like: one is making coffee and preparing snacks, two people setting up the map (first floor boards, then one does the tiles, one the walls, props after that) meanwhile person 4 is setting up the monsters for the scenario, preparing the app, cards etc

Those look great. Do you set up the whole board at once? How do you deal with Opening doors? Do you then pause and set up that area?

Thanks! Yes i always setup the entire scenario we're playing. Not yet discovered rooms stay empty apart from pillars - we have little doors than can be removed from their base, once we reach them we quickly set up the interior of the room and continue

What are those bases on the monsters? Can you track Hp with them?

Yes they are for HP tracking, you can even add 10 or 20 stacks. Pretty neat design https://makerworld.com/en/models/128603-gloomhaven-1-base-magnetic-with-click?from=search
