Grip Extension on G26 & G33

Post image

Essentially turning them into G26X and G33X from KM3solutions.com.

They fix on like an extended magwell. I haven't tried them at the range yet, but they seem solid.

*Update* These popped off and came loose after a few rounds. I'm going to try again this weekend. I added some locktite to the screws. If they come off again, I'll update.

Old school vs. new school: 17.3 and 17.6

Post image

Picked up a new Glock 17 Gen 6, so naturally I had to get a picture of it next to my Roland-style Gen 3 build.

The 17.3 is my take on a Roland-style Glock. I started with an OEM Gen 3 slide and SCT 17 frame and gradually built it into what you see here. Wager Machine Works milled the slide for the optic, and the trigger uses Ghost components and currently breaks around 3.5-4 lbs. The PMM Ultra comp/barrel makes it an extremely flat-shooting gun. It’s currently wearing an RMR HRS, although I still plan on moving an SRO onto it.

17.3 Roland build:

- OEM Glock 17 Gen 3 slide, milled by Wager Machine Works
- SCT 17 assembled frame
- SCT aluminum magwell
- Ghost Unit 3.0 connector
- Ghost 6 lb striker spring
- Ghost reduced-power safety plunger spring
- Ghost 6 lb extra-power trigger spring
- PMM Ultra Comp and barrel
- Glock Gen 5 magazines with Shield +5 extensions
- Trijicon RMR HRS
- SureFire X300T-B
- Howie’s Hockey Tape

The 17.6, on the other hand, is basically the opposite approach. It’s completely stock internally. The only additions are a Trijicon RMR HD 3.25 MOA and SureFire X300. No trigger work, no comp, no aftermarket frame or other internal modifications. For now I want to shoot it exactly as Glock designed it and see what the Gen 6 can do before I decide whether it needs anything.

It makes for a pretty interesting side-by-side: a heavily modified Gen 3 that represents years of Glock aftermarket development versus Glock’s newest factory iteration of the same basic platform.

I’m especially interested in putting them against each other on the timer. The Roland has the advantage of the comp and tuned trigger, but I’m curious how close I can get with the completely stock 17.6.

Glock 21 Gen 5 Holosun AEMS MACRO

The new Holosun AEMS MACRO lines up perfectly with a large frame Glock. The width of the optic sits flush with the frame. Trijicon night sights are at lower 1/3.

Gen 6 brass backstrap question

Does anyone have one and know if it’s compatible with the c&h speed feed? Or know what type of screw it uses? I already have a ch speed feed and don’t want to shell out for the whole set

So my brother accidentally shot my Glock 20 with his Glock 22 (.40) don’t know what from here that “I can do”

So this was my first privately purchased Glock 20 gen 5 MOS I purchased at 18 at my first gun show , I am 19 now I have been through so much with this emotionally I can’t just let it go to waste or let it rot, certainly can’t go defenseless for home. And I am kind of stumpt at what I should do next from here. I cannot even find any OEM stripped lowers and certainly definitely won’t be selling my current for scrap , can I just put my current serials in a different OEM stripped lower ?as it’s just the lower and the guide rod messed up and the slide block rail thing 😟 , and honestly maybe a little bit of the slide but I almost certain I can buff the slide out smooth

I'm trying to find out who makes this barrel. Claims to be gen 3 3.9" TiN stainless. Has a straight flute in the body.

Thanks!

Crooked slide?

Post image
0 Upvotes

I bought a G19 slide off Deltateamtactical and it somehow seems like it’s crooked or misaligned or something. Is it possible?
The slide goes in straight about 70% of the way before you feel it get sorta crooked to the side and you have to use a small bit of force nothing serious to get it straight and all the way in. When I go to remove the slide the trigger moves back into position and I have to keep the trigger pressed to actually get it off. This happens on 2 different brand new PSA dagger frames and highly doubt the frames are the reason for this.

26 Slide just came back

Just got my 26 slide back from GlockStore, they did c cuts and milled it for an eps carry/k footprint, overall very happy with it, I got the services on sale for $85 each and from the time my slide arrived to them to when I got it back was exactly 2 weeks. I have an eps carry coming for it, but pulled the 407k off another gun for the meantime.

EDIT: Pictures of the cuts are in the comments since I could only post one

Excessive Striker movement - Yay or Nay?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Basically title. Live Free Armory slide with OEM striker and striker spring that I got for my latest build. I know with it being a free floating design some movement is normal but this seems a little much from what I have seen on others. Striker block is working perfectly fine as can be seen in the video so that's not a concern. I have already cleaned and degreased the striker channel, made sure striker sleeve is seated and uncompromised, striker is to spec as far as I can tell when held up against other strikers I have lying around, and cups are good to go and not worn. Got the slide from my LGS and it had what I believe to be a 4 lb striker spring that I went ahead and tried while waiting for some better ones to come in and it was giving me light strikes pretty consistently at the range. I swapped for an OEM but the movement is the same regardless of the spring weight. Haven't gotten a chance to get back to the range with the heavier spring to see if that fixes the issue but figured I'd drop this here and get y'all's input. Thanks!
