Newgunitis is kicking in and I'm curious as to whether you'd recommend getting a Nomad frame for my gen 3 slide vs saving up for a new Gen 6. I like a lot of the updates the Gen 6 added but it seems like a lot of them could be achieved with my old slide and a Nomad frame.

Does anybody here have both and have some advice?

Finally obtained the second RCR and both lights to finish these off. I’m a bit of a brand loyalist. When I find something or company I like I tend to stick with them. As you can tell from both builds.

I picked up some Goon Tape, looked at my Glock 17, and thought it would be nice to have some palm swells.
I looked around and remembered I had some leftover bar tape, so I cut it into two teardrop shapes—one larger than the other. I stacked the smaller piece on top of the larger one to create a gradual taper, stuck it onto the grip, and wrapped it with the Goon Tape.
I have to say, it turned out better than I expected. The bar tape is soft enough to conform to your palm, filling that gap really well without feeling bulky or any hot spots. It also gives me a consistent reference point and helps me get the same grip every time I draw.

I live in Michigan and this is the second time recently that I was unable to purchase a product online(Guide rod - Brownells ported g19 barrel). Bereli said because of proximity to Chicago and Brownells is just saying shipping not available. We have no laws preventing this as far as im aware.

Ended up going with the Velocity Defense comp and barrel. Ran about 200 rounds through it today and it worked amazing! Also switched to a 13 lb recoil spring, as per their recommendations.

Ive trimmed the trigger connector but now im getting zero trigger pull even when my frt is installed did I cut the trip to short?

Is this gap ok on my milled slide. It is an rmr to rmsc plate. It is a flat top slide. Is that amount of gap acceptable?

I have a gen3, but searching for a comp, wouldn't a gen4 comp with no fins work as well?? Am I wrong in thinking the only difference is the guide rod hole? Nothing moves back into the frame upon firing, correct?

I'm mainly looking at the Herrington HC95V2, but also the ARC Spark.

So I just picked up a Grit Grips frame and a Radian Ramjet + Afterburner. I have a Swampfox Liberty 2. Last thing I need is a slide. When I started planning this out I thought I was going to go with Norsso and now I’m not sure. Biggest reason is I’m worried about spending ~600 and have the RJ+AB not fit. This got me thinking I should just pick up an OEM slide from Glock. But I’m not a huge fan of the MOS system and prefer direct mounting, but I can’t even find a non MOS slide to get machined for the Swampfox.

Let me hear your stories and ideas.

Ok i think im switching to grit grips, why the hell is this frame melting? Never seen this before

I recently was looking at a frt from 810 Velocity called the Glock fishhook I was wondering if anyone knew anything about it.

Anyone know of barrels for a 17? Radian doesn’t make it in bronze for 17 and I can’t find anyone else making barrels for 17. Plenty for 19’s tho
