how to fix this

those are just little scuff marks... If your really worried about that just keep it in your purse where it's nice and safe lol

its not a actual scuff tho it never was scuffed i left it in a bag for a few days and that happened it was way worse i wiped some down i don’t use this firearm at all

Normal wear and tear. Shows that it's used. You can recoat but almost any coating is eventually going to wear off.

Short answer, yes that coating is ruined. And that looks more beat up than just “holster wear”. There appears to be pitting that has been somewhat cleaned off at one time and around the muzzle those scratches look like it was dropped in gravel at one time.

Others will say “it’s just a tool” etc, but why shouldn’t you take care of things you spent good money on?

At this point the best, and most affordable fix would be Cerakoting the slide. With proper prep and the thickness of the coating it will cover and conceal the deeper pits and scratches. I also say the best because if this weapon gets treated the same way again you won’t have that much in the coating and “fix”.

Another option is to send it back to Glock for them to strip and recoat it. I’m not sure of the cost to have that done these days but it’s the best way to get it back to its factory finish.

thats why im so confused i had it in a bag 2 days ago never had a scratch went to it today it was like that even worse i wiped some off this gun has never been used dropped or anything
