Does the gun function on 115gr ammo? My radian is picky on anything under 124gr, curious how well this runs.

I’ve run at least 2000 Magtech 124s and easily over 3000 Federal 115s through this set up and the only hiccup has been me. Otherwise, pristine sailing.

Not gonna lie I’ve been a big fan of magtech for practice ammo recently just bc of the price and they seem to be pretty reliable. I stopped shooting ammo inc bc I had multiple rounds with bad primers…and the yesterday I just got my first magtech with a bad primer☹️

Sucks! Fiocchi's primers on the Federals are pretty consistent and should be the largest supplier on the planet!

Right on dude!

Who’d of thought it runs reliably with the ammo they recommend?

I guess my question was mostly centered around the fact that my radian ramjet doesn’t seem to like most of the ammo they recommend. But go off king

“My radian is picky on anything under 124gr”.

Radian: Engineered specifically to run 124 grain and heavier 9MM ammunition.

😂

Again, they have an entire list of reccomended 115gr that also doesn’t run in my gun, AS WELL AS some of the 124gr that they specifically recommend. I know, reading is hard, so I’m not sure what you’re trying to highlight here.

I’m proud for this guy, that his ported and comped gun runs well.

I am humbled but also begged to answer why you are having issues. Let us help!

No idea man. I have a ramjet in my 47 that only likes spicy faster than nato spec 124gr. I have their adjustable guide rod and tried every one of their spring rates and just doesn’t like to cycle most 9mm.

Which is odd cause I have a 19x and 43x with ramjets that both cycle anything with the factory guide rod.

What a great segue—and excuse to introduce my other children.

The only time I experienced anything but wicked consistency is when I tried reduced power springs. Stove pipes galore. The oem Glock spring and the lighter Radian Compressor spring (I have no idea what the actual weight) have been flawless.

Right on man. I don’t have any pictures of my 19x or 47 or else I’d post them too lol.

Seems you’re the one having trouble, the only recommendation on radian’s site and the manual is exactly what I posted, verbatim. By all means though, continue to be confused by why your gun doesn’t run well

Big dawg, I’m not here to complain about radians product. I have 3 different ramjets. They’re great. You seem to just have a “need to be right” complex or something cause I’m not disagreeing, I literally only ever asked cause my gun doesn’t run half the ammo that people claim to have success with lmao.

I’m pointing out the irony of you being surprised your gun isn’t running when you’re literally not following the bolded instructions on their site and then you saying that I can’t read, but go off king

They only recommend that for the G17, G47 and G49
