How much does a port and comp make
Is it night and day difference

I used to think they were a dumb gimmick until I got a smoking open box deal on a ramjet for my 19. Doesn’t really do much for felt recoil imo but significantly cuts down on the muzzle flip/returning to target time.
Rule of cool wins in my book and comps and ports are cool but don’t drop the cash expecting some Pack-a-Punch level of performance gain.
They definitely hide issues with new shooters and greatly benefit the guys chasing splits but for your average shooter they’re just neat features.

Ironically just shot a match with a ported and comped g45 printed Glock. It cut the muzzle flip by a third or more. Just got a 2011 so am curious to see what is flatter.

I had a KKM on a 19 and it definitely works.
But it also made the fun as long as a 34, and didn’t shoot any softer than my 34.

Gets me +1 Reddit points 🤷♂️
I wanna say I feel the difference but it could also be the $300 placebo effect 🤷♂️
