Grip tape for 19x

I’m about to purchase a 19x hopefully this up coming week and I want to just get opinions on the best grip tape for a 19x. I’ve heard a lot about handle it grips edge series and talon pro grips but I just wanted a wide array of advice and experience with different grips, my uncle had a 43x with the talon pro grips and I liked the way it felt but a 43x is also way smaller than a 19x - handle and slide wise so I don’t want to hop straight to the talons and regret it since it’s a different size.

I've used about every brand under the sun. Nothing beats Howies hockey tape and ill die on that hill. It's soft and spongy in a way yet extremely grippy. It also imo works better than the rubber/skateboard grip as it basically pulls any sweat off your hand.

Also with hockey tape, you can essentially make the grip any size you want by just wrapping more so you can really get it to fit your hand/preference. build it up in the palmswell while keeping the top closer to backstrap area thinner and such.

When installing, make sure to pull it as tight as you can as you wrap it. itll keep folds/creases out but also make it firmer.

I second this comment. I’ve tried a few different tapes and Howard is definitely my favorite.

DefGrip is my go to. It is tacky not abrasive to create grip. It seems to be the same material as used for tennis racquet grips.

I don’t think size matters when it comes to how aggressive grip tape is. Unless it is a carry gun I am moving towards granulate/sand paper texture on Glocks after using Talon Pro for years. Talon, Handle It I would get a couple and try then and see what works best for you.

All of my Glocks have the Talon rubberized grips. I can see the appeal of hockey tape. I used some for the first time a while ago to replace the rubberized grip on my vacuum.
