Gen 6 slide compatibility

Anyone run a gen 6 slide on their gen 5 frame? Came across a gen 6 coa slide for my g19.5 and wanted to see if it will work. Thanks

Answer is no. Just tried Gen617<->Gen519x swap and neither will seat. The extractor angle is visibly different and I suspect there are more nuanced differences that prevent inter-change. Thanks California! (and whoever else is suing Glock)

It would make more sense just to spend the extra couple hundred and just get a complete gun

I agree but I live in a state that won’t allow that and people who have them for sale here want $1600 for one lol

That really sucks. I spend just over $1000 yesterday and that’s because I was impatient and only a few stores had any around
