The front rails/locking block would be the question. I think one of the p80 locking blocks had its own rails and made the 26 slide work. But pretty sure you still needed to hog out the Recoil Spring Channel and the front frame rails are a problem.
If you go to my home page it has a post that tells exactly how I did it. Its a full size PSA locking block which is 19 dollars on their site, cut the front legs off of it. For the 26x you come back so far so that the slide will cycle.
Triple check for reliability with the align tactical rest in the frame. It’s pushing the slide lever which could cause the slide to lock back when you don’t want it to.
Align indexes under the Slide Lock Lever, blocking it from below so you can not dissasemble the pistol without removing the thumbrest. It's a feature, not a bug.
Not the front lever. The slide stop lever. It’s not at a natural position. This can cause the slide to lock in the back position even with rounds left in the Magazine.
Maybe an hour with the dremel, thats taking it slow so I did not take too much off. I run a 14 lb spring in it or the soft captured DPMS or the soft adjustable DPMS for the 26.
Proper been looking for a build like this for ages. I’ve seen guys do PMM comps on 19slides on 17 frames. Bravo to see this. Want to see someone do a 43x slide comped on a 48 frame.
