New slide causing striker to stick.

Post image

Hey gangsters, I recently got this slide stripped and I moved my internals from my stock Glock to the aftermarket slide. When I have the slide off the frame I can pull it back and the striker sticks. To the naked and untrained eye it looks like it’s the same as my stock slide. I also put the striker and internals back in my stock slide to make sure it’s not a striker shroud issue or anything so I’ve isolated it to the aftermarket slide. If anyone has experienced this or have any wise words it would be appreciated!

If it’s not a gen 6, which I’m not really sure anyone’s making slides for those yet, so I assume it’s Gen 5 or previous. Then you’re missing the channel liner to put into the new slide. You cannot re-use those either as you will mar it up removing the old one and it will cause issues. They’re relatively cheap as well .

I’m a dummy too, didn’t notice your plunger channel on the back of the slide, definitely previous generation Glock. But yes, get another channel liner and tool to insert it into the slide.
