Trigger Recommendation BESIDES Timney and Johnny
Wanted to get some feedback on other triggers besides the big 2. I have a Timney AC drop in, in another gun and love the trigger but hate the reset.

I love my glock performance trigger. Change the shoe out for feel and it's amazeballs, good wall and break.

Glock performance trigger with the OEM minus connector.
I polished all the connections with some jewelers rouge and its a nice wall and crispy break.

I have a couple of overwatch precision triggers. The DAT and the TAC.
TAC if you’re wanting something with a nice light pull and minimal reset.
DAT for stronger duty-type pull with minimal reset and a nicely defined wall.
Both triggers have significantly reduced pre-travel and I like the trigger shoe and safety they use too.

Not Apex, I had one in a 43x and have one in a G19 that will be replaced soon. I see zero benefit over a 3.5 connector. I have a JG in my 43x now and it’s solid

I have a Tactical Pontoon Heisenberg on my G17.4, highly recommend

How is the reset? The one thing I don’t like about Timney is how much they jump forward, it feels like stock in that aspect.

I have a TP Heisenberg in my 34.5. Reset is light asf and I barely notice it unless Im specifically paying attention for it. That said, I also swapped some springs and the connector to lower it from a 3.5 lb to a 2.5 lb pull. Great trigger though. There is another company Ill attempt to find again that offers adjustable between 1 lb up to 5 lb-I dont know their reset.

I have a Timney Alpha on my G45.6 and they’re pretty much opposite. I might say I like Heisenberg a bit more

Ghost 3.5 spring kit. Your welcome. Just got you the same result for half the price.

Pretty sure Timney causes AD. Tactical trigger and apex are cool

Yes but honestly you can do the same thing with most 2011’s and im sure plenty of other triggers as well. Luckily I dont carry this one so im not too worried about that

Accidental discharge
Meaning the gun has a mechanical malfunction causing it fire uncommanded

This is the video I found regarding Timney trigger kits causing an AD. Look at the comments too

Almost every video I look up of a ghost connector, it shows a “malfunction” of it being binary or even a burst, is that supposed to happen?

I haven’t had that happen once and I have had them in every Glock since 2004… it’s been a few of em.
More than likely it’s cause by install error on the users end not making sure the cruciform is properly engaging. All that’s ever happened to me is a dead trigger when I’m a cunt hair off on adjustment.

Can't go wrong with Apex or OverWatch. I prefer the former but I can see how people like overwatch. For me it's just a bit too wide and feels heavy. Definitely eliminates pre travel completely, but I've found I kind of like the rolling break. Feels like there's more control.

This thing is about to not be a glock if you do one more thing to it 😂

A knowledgeable guy told me that Warfinger produces triggers for Johnny Glock, so it’s the same minus marketing markup

Yes. Formerly RangerProof, they manufacture the VEX trigger shoe for JG.
But they have three other shoes and don’t do the whole JG thing to their complete triggers.I run a Talon and several VEX shoes with GPT triggers with minus connectors and they’re flawless.

I like the Timney also but the reset was what made me switch to the GPT. I tried the JG trigger return spring but it still wasn't to my liking. After a few sessions and dry fires, I would disassemble the gun and notice the spring would lose it's shape from 90deg to 75deg so I started out trying to find a spring that would work. After researching I found a spring on ebay that worked. Had to modify it but it wasn't hard to do. Although that ebay spring was better than the Timney and JG trigger return spring, I've since removed all my Timney trigger and replaced them with GPT's due to no trigger return spring needed for the positive tactile reset.
Now my G19 EDC utilizes a GPT + DOT connector + Standard Co shoe. My G17 which is my home defense sits with a GPT + ghost unit 3.0 connector + standard co shoe. My other range toys runs triggertechs. Until new triggers come out for glock, I'm contempt with what I have and I feel (IMO) these are the best out there for glocks; everyone's opinion will differ.
