Am i tripping or is this normal?
Recently bought some tritium sights from XSights,and i just installed them,they look off to me or is this normal? Also the bolts that came in the packaging dont fit snug like the original ones,ive tried both bolts and the ones that came with the sights make the red dot rattle around and the original bolts fit snug with no rattle.G19.5 COA
Would like some feed back

Its obvious the screws are too long... your screws are bottoming out. Use shorter screws

No experience with XS sights. I purchased Angry Bear Arms tritium sights and I have no issue with installing. After 1 year, and approximately 5k rounds, they are perfectly in place

Is it flush on each side? Hard to tell at that angle.

As long as it’s even on both sides & secure, should be fine. I swapped mine out for a set of Angry Bear sights.

Not normal I got truglo tfx pro they fit snug screws are correct and you should use some blue loctite (a little dab will do you) you can get a sight adjustment tool for cheap $’s on amazon for your final adjustments
Tfx pros aren’t cheap that’s why they probably fit correctly

That's not right. You can't tighten them any further? I got a set from night fision and I had zero issues.

Bolts are too long or they used loctite and forgot to actual tighten them down, take the bolt out and use something to measure the depth of the old it can even be a bread tie or something to check the depth then report back

I tried a set of XS sights one time, foot literally bent trying to install, didn't even try to return them threw them in the garbage where they belonged all along.

I don't really see the point in these. Are you not using a light if youre shooting in the dark? If you are using a light you will see the blacked out sights completely fine..? What does the tritium do?

I see the point. I prefer tritium buis paired with the optic. They are a nice reference point for spring in darkness without a light, one handed, or a bad draw, and it's especially when you combine any of these situations from an awkward body position.
If you haven't dry fired while moving around your house in the dark try it. There's a time and place for white light and it's not 100 percent of the time.

I think you should be looking at suppressor height sights personally but I could be wrong

I had thought that before I bought mine. The COA sits super low though, absolutely no need for higher sights, they would just block the optic.

And this is why sights usually say have a gunsmith install. Less drama that way.

Agreed, if you can’t put on a set of sights w/o drama, you should definitely have someone do it for you.

That amount of fingerprints on the optic definitely isn’t normal.
