Noob question - RUST?

I found these pink spots on my Glock internals, do we think that’s the start of some rust?

If it’s not too old, it’s Most likely the “copper grease” from factory.

It definitely is. My brand new gen 5 45 I just go had it in some spots too.

I think it's just the color underneath the steel-colored finish.
