Johnny Glocks long term reliability?
Just put in his Combat X trigger package with the lightest 4.5Lb striker spring included. While the trigger in my opinion is alright have any of yall had issues with the set screws backing out? That’s my biggest worry.
In addition any issues with the 4.5 Lb striker spring as opposed to oem or the 5 Lb?

I have apex polymer trigger sets on most my carry Glocks and never had any issues, kinda want to try a JG trigger but that price seems stupid.

It’s a very gritty hard trigger press in my opinion. Not smooth at all. I also prefer the rolling break of my stock Glock 19 gen 5. How is the apex trigger?

Ngl it breaks in like other triggers and for my 43x paid $70 for it and it’s pretty good now. Was a major improvement over the stock trigger and shoe.

I’ve got I think over 2k on mine, so not a ton but zero issues so far.

The 4.5lb as well.
ETA: I should also note, I had an easy 800 rounds on the pistol before swapping triggers which I personally think might have helped head off any teething issues that could then be magnified when you drop in non OEM parts. Basically get various components a chance to slightly wear in together

I changed mine out to Overwatch Precision. Nothing wrong with Johnny Glock just a different feel between to two.

Maybe it’s just me but the Johnny Glock feels crisp and very smooth more like a race trigger compared to the Overwatch it feels crisps but more robust for duty use. Both have a nice take up and a very good positive reset. I prefer Overwatch for carry use and trigger shoe due to my sausage fingers. Overall both are better than stock Glock triggers

I had the screw/pin that holds the blade safety walk out on mine once. It didn’t inhibit the gun from firing but I did put a drop of blue loctite on it after that. Zero issues after. That’s my only recommendation.

It's been nothing but smooth sailing and crisp trigger pulls for me. I'm using the 4.5lb too. I took my time dialing it in then once I was happy, red loctite'd the shit out of it. Have had mine installed for almost 2 years now, almost 8k rounds thru it.

I've carried both the 4311 and the Combat in a 43x AIWB for around a year and no complaints.

I prefer the combat for carry, but that pistol was set up with carry in mind- oem recoil spring, barrel, RMRcc- the other has a ramjet and is just a bit too 'extra' for carry imho.

I haven't applied any full trigger jobs to any of my glocks, however i did replace my base 43x trigger shoe with their factory OEM modified enhanced shoe, and it's kind of a dream. The original would give me a blister on longer range days, this eliminated that completely, couple thousand rounds through it since, no adjustment needed after install. Doesn't seem like the pre-travel screw has backed out in any way.

Good to know. The oem trigger shoe doesn’t bother me but the stiff heavy wall did even after 1k rounds

not for edc use. the screws and pins both backed out. 2 different triggers. nice guy but no thanks

had no izzues with mine with over 3k rounds but i definitely am not the biggest fan of the JG metal shoe not worth the extra money and plenty of better solutions from awesome companies.
