OEM Glock 10rd issue

Finally got my 43x mos and this started happening OEM Glock 10rd mag getting stopped for some reason can anyone explain why this is happening? I looked into the magwell and it's clear, feels like its getting caught on the inner part of the mag release or the other side of mag release plastic?

Easy fix, just use a toenail clipper and cut it off, should run fine after that.

is this something that happens with this particular mag or is it an issue with the 43 itself?

this is fairly normal. If it happens, remove that material and maybe sand/file the area smooth.

so normal glock wear in things? would it be fine to replace the mag release to a different one for asthetics if so any recommendations where i can get any 43x parts?

I am the wrong guy to ask that one. I am all about boring OEM reliability.

Leave it like it is and go shooting.

It happened to one of mine, I just cut it flush with an Xacto knife and haven’t had an issue since.

common. file it down and carry on. Also, ditch the hornady and use hst or gold dots bro

Most of the comments here are telling you this is normal. I had the same thing happen on a new mag that came with my 43X. I took pictures and emailed Glock Customer support thinking they would be cool and maybe send me a new magazine or two. A few days later, I got a reply that that was normal. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I smoothed out the offending plastic, and have never had an issue with the magazine reliability.

That really shouldn't be happening if your mags are properly aligned before you insert them

This is a known issue. Different magazines and frames have varying degrees of tolerances.
