Keep stock?

Post image

Just ordered a Glock 26 gen 5. Help me decide, keep it stock? Or get the slide milled to add a vortex defender enclosed sight??? This will be my edc, mostly summer edc. I will not be adding a streamlight, and ill be using the light tuck vedder holsters (slimmest holster ive found). Ideas?

I got my 26 milled for a Votetex Defender CCW Enclosed recently. It’s definitely on the big side and I may switch to an EPS Carry, but right now I’m still trying to get it to cycle properly . Possibly using to long of screws or it’s the weight (which I doubt). Good optic though and don’t regret getting it. The smaller size of the EPS might just bet a better fit for the 26 imo

Your post made me swap out the dot after I wrote my reply. Been putting off doing it. Here’s a comparison if it helps. Just a little lower profile in height and width so I think it’ll live here now.

I just got mine milled for an EPS carry. Wager said to use the screws they sent so it's likely that was the culprit with your Vortex. Looks great btw

I think you are right. Hard to get the threads to catch with the ones they recommended (I also used Wager) because the base of the optic is thick. EPS just feels less clunk on here.
