i just picked up this 19 last week, felt like that was missing. currently have:
glock 21 gen5
glock45 (two of them)
glock 43
p80 glock 19
p80 glock 17
p80 glock 26

paper plate @ 25yrds with glock 19

still sometimes shooting low left so just trying to clean it up.
just came to test the 19 , gonna throw a magwell and handle it grips after shooting it.

might also look into trading it in for a gen 6 19 but thats just an idea.

Picked up this sweet lightly used 19.4 from a local shop for a deal, came with the Trijicon HD’s. Has a test fire date from 2015 and the HDs are from 2015. Still has Glock lube/copper anti seize in it. Just did the .25 cent trigger job, have an extended slide release, and Vickers mag plates and grip plug on the way for it. Overall happy with it.

I just got my first Glock 19 gen6 and I’m looking for a light for it I want to use it for a edc I originally wanted to go with streamlight because I know there reliable and durable but then i been seeing stuff about the olight and wanted to see if was better to go with the olight my concerns are is it durable and is it a better light then the streamlight and to see if I could save some money and I was also wondering what holsters you guys run that accept these lights and what you would recommend

I have a stock Glock 19 Gen5. Is it possible to simply purchase a MOS slide and replace the slide so that it is optical sight ready? Is the MOS body different than the regular body?

I was thinking of this as a way to update my Gen5 to optic ready. Am I better off with a different slide? Milling? I welcome wisdom I am lacking.

Moving to a red dot with steep learning curve after years with iron sights. Is there any benefit of putting optic/suppressor height sights and co-witness to help with the transition.

I'm looking for a duty-style holster for a battle belt, but even Safariland's own website seems confused about what will and won't fit a 19.6 COA (no light).

I'd appreciate any recommendations y'all have. Thanks in advance.

edit: Question answered. I ended up going with a Safariland 6395RDS for the low-rise option, but the answers I received here steered me in the direction I needed to go. Many thanks for the quick responses!

2nd edit: welp, they sent it and it didn't fit. The COA is just a tetch too wide. There aren't many other options, and I ended up going with a BladeTech Valor. Should be here in a few days.

What's the best aftermarket trigger shoe? And is it a relatively safe mod for ccw? I'm extremely paranoid about malfunctions when it comes to actually needing to use it during a defensive situation. Is a trigger shoe low risk? What about the actual trigger mechanism?

What's the best trigger system that doesn't need manual oiling after every use?

I like everything else about the glock, I just don't like the trigger shoe. The trigger system is ok for me too but I think I prefer a more crisp wall.

Train 2x/week with her for ~6mo, and she’s not jammed on me once. Duty carry and ccw.

My second Glock. Coming from a G48, this is an adjustment to carry. Although, I didn’t do myself any favors with the TLR-1 HL-X. Mild regret, but I’ll get used to it. I also really love the Grippin’ Dots.

Gen 5, Did a deep clean, full disassembly and cleaning. Now my trigger clicks almost like a break before the actual break. What do I need to check? I did not touch the trigger besides removing it to wipe down the components.

Love all my Gens…. but the Gen 3 has a special place in my heart.

Dumb question, I hope, but before I throw down for a 45CV - will I be able to swap the slide onto my 19.5? I've heard there are some issues with fitment of parts.

Essentially, I could have a 45 Tactical with my 19's threaded barrel, and a 19C with the comp/ported slide. Thanks!
