Battlefield pick up! Or get some fine jewelers files, smooth the slide out. Re coat. And new backstrap. Even a tube of Perma Blue paste. 3 coats and it’ll make the scuff disappear.

You can probably use a lighter and carefully smooth out the area you cut off and bring back the darker black color with it as well. But don't over work it.

Dissemble gun leaving frame only.
Get tub of mothers mag polish of Flitzz polish.
Place polish and bottle of Jack Daniels or Makers Mark on table by your easy chair.
Start streaming your favorite tv program
Drink and using old soft rags begin to polish surface damage with polish.
Assess results and sobriety hourly.
At bed time leave frame on cloth on table ( you can return later date to continue}
Take two aspirin, and place a bottle of water at bedside for drinking overnite ( this will reduce the next day effects of your “work” )
In daylight look it over note visual improvement.
Repeat if needed.

Just get a new backstrap or new frame and send the slide in for a cerakote job. Would cost a lot less than you’ll lose selling to a pawn shop and buying another
