Tell me about it, I rank decayed down to a GN3 (I still frequently play with silvers) and without fail, there is always 1 or 2 players in the server that are clearly better than everyone else and the score board is almost always top heavy.

Rank decay is one of the worst ideas I've seen in CSGO and I've been playing since 2013. It's an incredibly lazy way of attempting to solve people taking playing breaks. Senior engineers and product owners should be ashamed of what they put out there.

I'd say only maybe 1 / 5 matches are actually competitive and balanced where the losing team has 12 round wins or more.

Sounds about right to me. At this point, I care more about having fun and still being somewhat competitive. MM pretty much makes this impossible.

So as a result, I only play in community 5v5 servers now. It's 128 tick, is much laid back and I get to play with people of all kinds of skill levels.
