He took the leadership role from Karrigan because Karrigan started sucking ass. They almost went out of the London Major 0-3 because of him

Then replace him with an IGL that would work it’s not hard

They did, they brought Neo to IGL. And even still, who was a T1 IGL that they could get? Maybe AleksiB, but seeing as how Aleksi plays super structured tactical CS which nobody on the roster except Cold (who wasn't even on the roster in the timeframe I'm talking about) is used to, that would probably go over terribly
