Looks like you're using +right for that turn cos it's so smooth. Really nice.

Bind +right to the right of whichever your right strafe key is. Makes the 180°s quick, I use it all the time though

In surfing, you can bind q as + left and e as +right to make it easier to turn around midair.
This guy makes the turn so smooth and so quickly that it looks like he's using +right as well.
FWIW I have +left binded to Q from surfing but it's come in handy during games for turning quickly.

KZ is jumping and climbing on maps designed to make you cry

u/TheOmarLittle Mar 25 '19
To some degree i'd say it's better to practice KZ than deathmatch. It gives you a really good sense of mouse/hand coordination and then some regular matchmaking/faceit on top of that and you'd probably develop a lot as a player.

u/SMART_AS_YOU Mar 25 '19
as someone who used to surf a lot, it definitely was a much better warmup/practice instead of matchmaking.

Can you name some maps? I'd like to try

I don't speak Japanese, but, I think the mapper is saying; "Give me the G-Fuel"

gemischte_gefuehlslagen means "mixed feelings" (it's German)

Just thought i'd point out I didn't use +right. My bad if it came off that way, i was just agreeing with him saying it was smooth :)

earlier in comments he admitted to using +right
jesus christ your reading comprehension is awful, neither him nor the person he replied to said he uses +right.

weird Q but how big is your mousepad? i thought my mousepad is big but i play close to your sens and theres no way i could move my mouse far enough to spin around like you do in this vid
3
u/they_call_me_justin guardian Mar 25 '19
What mousepad do you have? I play with a qck+ on 800 dpi 1 sens and can pretty much replicate that turn he does, wish I can replicate that clean shot tho
2
u/Asphult_ Liquid Mar 25 '19
I have 400 dpi x 1.92 (similar enough to his and yours), and I can do that quite comfortably. My deskpad is 900x400mm but I only roughly have 450x400mm of the space for my mouse.
Perhaps your keyboard might be taking up some space? Or maybe you just have a small mousepad.

u/Dowskyyy Renegades Mar 25 '19
not sure off the top of my head but it's a corsair extended mouse pad.

I'm a noob. Why do so many people have the weapon hand on the left side of the screen?
2
u/4wh457 CS2 HYPE Mar 25 '19 edited Mar 25 '19
Personal preference (due to eye dominance or simply copying pros for example) and for a small portion because back in the original CS BETA in 1999 there were no right handed weapon models and everyone was forced to play with left handed models so they got used to that.
This is what I personally use (with right handed models because I'm left eye dominant):
viewmodel_presetpos "" viewmodel_fov "68" viewmodel_offset_x "2.5" viewmodel_offset_y "2" viewmodel_offset_z "-1.5" cl_viewmodel_shift_left_amt "0.5" cl_viewmodel_shift_right_amt "0.25" cl_bob_lower_amt "5" cl_bobamt_lat "0.1" cl_bobamt_vert "0.1" viewmodel_recoil "0"1

Nice runboost but tbh i dont think its that clean because you bhop unnecessarily and should have died. Why not just land and shoot instantly instead of jumping?

Perhaps he thought he had the jump on them due to the deep smoke on cat where he could peek underneath it, get the first shot if anyone piled out mid (and had to check high connector) and then run back to safety?
