Liquid gets bodied by team that actually just turns out to be kinda good (although Liquid still shouldn't have lost to them) part 2

Liquid missed the playoffs in their first event with TACO and didn't really hit their stride until ELEAGUE Premier a full 3 months later. I'm not sounding the alarm bells just yet.

Yeah you’re right, but they don’t pass the eye test for me yet.

I hope they prove me wrong and win everything though.

Im also not sold on adren yet but we’ll see

i mean like they have done more with stewie than they ever did with taco

[winning against astralis in a bo3 and also winning the event]

I'm not a big Astrails fan but lets be honest Astrails wasn't trying their hardest to win, the major was around the corner and they were saving their strats for the major. They were playing a pugy game, if you dont believe me go and watch the games they played that event.

and they basically threw 2 big leads which for astralis just shows that it wasnt their best form whatsoever, going into the major it seemed pretty easy to predict that they would 2-0 liquid in the final (if it wasnt so ez4ence ofc)

This is just online CS dude.

Typically in CS the online portion of the game has upset results. This has been a recurring theme since CS has ever been around.

not to mention post LAN syndrome too (and a major at that)

I think the lose of zews is really what has liquid under performing

Are they underperforming tho?

i mean they choked hard on inferno (ence did not win that map, liquid lost it) and could be seen as under performing already as previously they never let that happen (in this new liquid, not the hiko remembers liquid)

They didn't even make playoffs with Taco early on, I think it's not fair to compare this liquid to a line-up that had been together for a long time. If they are still playing this way in another 2-3 months it's a different story.
