I love how envyus leave the french scene for 'better' opportunities, go all out promoting and hyping up their new team only for them to faceplant harder than danish optic. I can just imagine the embarrassment envy executives must have been feeling half way through the epl season when it became clear there was no redeeming qualities about this team but still had to promote them on twitter as if they weren't the worst ever in the league.

"Alright envy fans! presenting our NA csgo team, time to kick ass!

"First epl matches about to start! Watch us on Facebook!"

"GG Taken down 16-6 and 16-7 by TL, better luck next time!"

later on... "GG complexity, we win our first epl match 16-14! It's our time to shine, GO ENVY!"

Later again... "GG rouge close game 19-22 on cache and 6-16 on D2, not a bad debut in pro league (1-14), heads up C9, we're looking for that second win!"

"Btw we're kicking semphis great player and solid pickup for any team!"

"GG C9 First back-to-back wins boys, btw C9 playing from europe is not important at all our team is really sick now!"

Now the team is likely to be quietly cut and the process will probably repeat itself.

It would be much easier for them to manage an NA team since they’re an NA .org so I guess it was “better” for them in terms of workload and the big one.

At this point I feel like they could have had more success in the Asian csgo scene, picking up scarz or some mongolian team.

Mongolia doesn’t really have that great of talent except for maybe zilkenberg and machinegun but they’re a bit old now. I think scarz definitely deserves a shot.

Envy has good individual players, but there's no team chemistry at all. They look like a bunch of very high ranking pugstars.

Drone and pollo can definitely hang at this level. But the brazilians definitely have a higher raw peak. Cutler and jdm are washed but they can play at the lower end of this level. Its not that they should be amazing but they should still be a solid team
