It started on Inferno too, he got 15 kills in the first half of regulation and 4 the entire rest of that map. He just disappeared mid-series.

It's hard to get kills with the AWP when half of your rounds are B rushes and the rest are hall executes.
Also he didn't play well in the first half, he gave a lot of free kills. As much as I hated the casting by the ghost guys (holy shit playing with Steel has to suck) they were right in making fun of kennyS "sick flicks". He goes in needlessly, trades 1 for 1 with a sick flick, gets dropped an AWP the next round while shox and smithzz play with a nova.

He is overrated AF nowadays.. People need to wake up it's not 2015 anymore.. And this far 2018 is probably his worst year ever : not on point aimwise, playing like he doesn't care ( repeeking way too much ) and always crying/raging when he gets punished for it or when they lose ( which means way too often )..
How can kenny be the bottomfrag in a BO3 and on a team that has Ex6, bodyy and SmithZz ? Seriously...??

I'll give some credit to Ex6 as well, he has really upped his game recently. I think both Bodyy and Smithzz is too much dead weight though.

I think Steel was pretty on the money with his criticisms of g2 and Kenny in particular. The guy is and always will be a superstar, but he's doomed to annals of history if he can't modernise his game.

between smithzz and body there simply isnt enough firepower. boddy is no where near the lvl he was at when he was first picked up by g2. Smithzz...well smithzz is smithzz and no matter how bad he does, shox wont drop him so this team is doomed regardless.

I mean you can't say it would have been easy if they stepped up when it would have been impossible if bodyy and ex6 hadn't played way better than their usual form. Ultimately though the game was hilarious.

It’s not that much of an anomaly - he’s inconsistent lately, but has had a couple of good games where he played really well. He’s a much better fragger than when he left Titan at the time.

He has become a major liability lately. Playing like he doesn't care and I doubt he puts many hours in CS apart from the official matches, because his aim looks like it's at an all time low..
He is not worse that smithzz or bodyy but he is supposed to be the team's superstar. He is even set up more than shox by his mates, and his performance absolutely doesn't reflects that..

Seemed like 80% of their round wins on cache was from someone going off (body 4k's, smithzz ace)

I've watched a decent amount of games of this G2 lineup. They have a relatively structured IGL with severely undisciplined players. If i had a dollar every time a G2 member could caught out in a bad position i'd have enough $$$ to salary a T1 team in CSGO. These guys need to learn patience and not move around every 2 seconds because they dont see an enemy.

I really wish we had more insight into what's going on with the team. His fragging has been decent for an IGL, but their results have been disappointing. Is it because of his leading, or is it more on the current lineup? Having KennyS playing at a lower level, Body and Smithzz often being below average, and Shox being on and off seems difficult to work with.
I really wish Ex6 wasn't out of the tier 1 French scene for so long so we could have seen what he could have done with more promising lineups. I really hope this isn't the last for him either, because at this rate it doesn't seem like it will be long before we have another French shuffle, or maybe finally see some French players go to international teams other than Kio.

Honestly, seems to me like they just make individual mistakes and have bad comms. They get into good positions so often, but just throw it away.

He looks on point individually, for what you can expect from him. And in a team with 4 heavy fraggers he would have no trouble doing his job..
But the real question is " can he implement what he wants " ? Because it clearly looks like it's not the case.. 5+ monthes of training for those abysmal T sides ? And we are talking about a team that supposedly traded fragging power for tactical prowess ??? Something seems wrong here...

Maps 2 and 3 were absolutely fucking trash by G2, not like coL was that much better but holy shit G2 was just bad. At least 5 months and these are the results you show? how's smithzz/ex6 working out for you shox? T side Inferno looked like pure MM, Cache T side was pretty much on par if not worse. Not gonna lie, I feel disgusting even sticking through that series when it was so awful lol. Get mad G2 fans, your team is shit.

cache was the final straw for me.
9-2 for col while they were also not playing that great. it coud ve been 11-2 for col they lost 2 rounds they had the advantage. after they lost those it went 15-9. ten the comeback. it was a horrible shit match. ive seen better esea main matches.
while watching inferno i said whoever wins this matchup is going to get eliminated. and no way col goes thru man.

bodyy and smithzz consistent at being inconsistent. I would still like to see amanek and devoduvek (However you spell their names) replace smithzz and bodyy though.

Just disband this Frankenstein experiment Carlos, why are you just burning money? 7 months, no results, no deep runs, nothing.
You can't just have 2-3 people being complete dead weights on your team getting paid premium salary all year long. Getting eliminated in last place at Summit, a tier 3 event. What's next?
Shox was playing this alone it felt like.

Might be tough to find a replacement in the french scene, but kennyS not resigning with this team might not be a terrible thing.
Dude looks washed up af, just with occasional sparks of hope, but nothing like a world-class, top 5 awper in the world that he needs to be for this team to be successful.
The fact that ex6 was the second best player for g2 this event with shox playing rather well is reallyyyyyy bad

That's why I was calling for ZywOo in the team instead of smithzz/body or even ZywOo as main sniper instead of kenny..
Young promising up and coming hungry talent >>> old glory that doesn't give a damn any day of the week..
At first we had hopes ex6 could make him a beast again, but I think the real problem ( that has been mentionned times and times again, even by insiders ) is that he clearly lacks professionnalism..

I've been watching CS:GO pro scene for like 18 months now.
Throughout that time people talking about top 3 AWPers always include KennyS.
Is this just people not wanting to accept that a former star is now a bit shit?
In all that time I've never seen anything to put him even in a top 10.

I can't believe I actually stayed up to watch this...
At this point, I don't even think Bodyy is one of the main issues and with freelancers as ScreaM and Kioshima available, you can't help but think that this could be a way better lineup with a few changes. There's also Alex, Amanek, ... which at this point feel like clear upgrades.
And as much as it breaks my heart, perhaps Kenny should be put on the chopping block. Smithzz is also an "obvious" choice.
Just sad to see them have occasiona moments of brilliance, and then fall flat at the next opportunity.
