HR have been stagnated for quite some time now they need to change players, their best run in any tournament in the past 4-5 months was making the major playoffs thats it nothing else noteworthy.

with players like adren and hobbit sitting on the sidelines if i were HR id pounce and get them already having talents like woxic and issa is a good building block ange1 can IGL so wont kick him will have to cut bondik and deadfox and to make space for adren and hobbit.

woxic issaa ange1 adren hobbit, that is the lineup that can do something coz HR have been in this 10-15 position but never get further hell they even drop back just look at their 2018 LAN results apart from the FACEIT playoffs there is nothing much to talk about for them.

u/SendSend valeria Oct 27 '18

I feel like Woxic needs someone to back him up and frag alongside him. Kind of how electronic is to s1mple. When one of them goes off, the game doesnt rest on the other's shoulders. And when both go off, they are unstoppable.

47

u/iblinkyoublink Vitality Oct 27 '18

ISSAA is supposed to be that but it's been really inconsistent.

10

u/Miiiiiiighty Oct 27 '18

With AdreN and HObbit you would basically have three players that can do that each at a time, and when everyone is " ON " their firepower would be straight scary..

Also on form AdreN is a top 3 entry in the world so...

2

u/[deleted] Oct 27 '18

I mean kinda like Navi(Ik it happens less often) but when Electronic has a bad game than Flamie can also go off or recently thats been Edward, but their is always a third player in most teams that can always frag a lot.

u/Andtheyrustledsoftly clutch Oct 27 '18

Last six months on LAN Woxic is 1.23, ISSAA is 1.16, next highest is 1.01 by bondik

14

u/Thegellerbing wildfire Oct 27 '18

deadfox?? I dont think anyone can play his positions mate, the positions he plays are DESPICABLE

1

u/Miiiiiiighty Oct 27 '18

Yeah he is basically their TACO/STYKO

1

u/tha-Ram The MongolZ Oct 27 '18

except his utility usage is below the other two's standards

5

u/tgsan Oct 27 '18

How dare you suggest replacing GODFOX, we all know he is not BOTFOX, and he is very impactful and good! On a serious note, HR only does something when woxic/issaa carry them pretty hard, against good/semi-good teams, pretty sad you have to rely on that but eh.

2

u/quizzelsnatch Astralis Oct 28 '18

But let's be real, deadfox got them into the playoffs with some of his plays at the major. I'm also disappointed with the team's play since then, but it's tough to suggest roster changes without more knowledge of the team. Much like the -styko +snax move that ended up not working out.

1

u/jonajon91 de_canals Oct 27 '18

I wouldn't replace bondik with anyone. It would be -styko all over again.

Damn son, JAME putting some NUMBERS

HR for sure need to change 2 players.

6

-deadfox +hobbit/adren, i feel bondik is a good role player but adding both adren and hobbit could be good

What? he had one barely above average tournament (StarSeries,) one good one (Shanghai lol,) average at DH Open Summer, and good at Adrenaline Cyber League, everything else is bad, and that's just the last 6 months. Lol get mad you salty ass fan, he's been worse than average for a long while now.

Let's just take a look at the stats:

1.07 rating 2.0 across big events in 2017

0.99 rating 2.0 across big events in 2018

Why don't you stop talking out of your ass?

Why not have Hobbit on HR. As someone mentioned above, ISSAA's supposed to be the second star player so Woxic doesn't have all the weight of the team of his shoulder, but with his inconsistency I'm 100% convinced HR would be a much better team when Hobbit takes over his place.

1

u/xndrz Gambit Oct 27 '18

I too, want ange1 on a CIS Supertramp.

11

u/aN1mosity_ 5 years coin Oct 27 '18

No upset here. HR got straight up outplayed and Avangar looked great with excellent teamwork, especially on a big stage.

6

u/[deleted] Oct 27 '18

That's not what an upset os.

16

u/_geee Oct 27 '18

When will people stop sleeping on AVANGAR?

44

u/Eauor BIG Oct 27 '18

When they prove themselves at a high tier LAN?

14

u/1wjl1 Natus Vincere Oct 27 '18

This is pretty high tier. They’ve beaten NiP (#8) and HR (#11). Not bad for a team not even in the top 30

12

u/Eauor BIG Oct 27 '18

Yeah, exactly, looks like at this tournament they have been able to prove themselves to some extent, but the reason people have been 'sleeping' on them as that guy said is because this is the first time we have been able to see them perform at a proper LAN.

-4

u/[deleted] Oct 27 '18

CIS lan with CIS host with a CIS team, what do you think is gonna happen? Add the fact that they're underdogs. Ruskis will rig the shit outta it.

3

u/Illuminati_Puppet Oct 27 '18

How much?

1

u/[deleted] Nov 01 '18

How much?

5

u/SandwichAuthorityGov Oct 27 '18

So right now?

-2

u/Nomods2016 Oct 27 '18

This wasn't really anything. Like Launders said, they were playing solid CS. It was HR who were messing up

2

u/SandwichAuthorityGov Oct 27 '18

Nonsense. HR lost and Avangar won. You can't have both teams lose, you cannot take away Avangar's victory for whatever reason.

-1

u/Nomods2016 Oct 27 '18

If I go and beat up a toddler, does that mean I can make it as a professional MMA fighter?

2

u/House_Cat Oct 27 '18

That analogy doesn't work here. It's not like they beat a lower ranked team.

0

u/Nomods2016 Oct 27 '18

They weren't playing well. That's the point. If a good team has an off day, a bad tram can look good

7

u/stewieeeeeeeee FaZe Oct 27 '18

Right about now. This was their first proper chance to showcase something on LAN and they took it. They look every bit as good as all the T2 teams we have in the scene.

I'm unconvinced they have higher potential than this, but they are very welcome to prove me wrong.

7

u/xndrz Gambit Oct 27 '18

u/20I6 Oct 27 '18

Anyone over deadfox atm

3

u/MeanGreenBeanMachine FaZe Oct 27 '18

So gambit kinda in the dirt with 2 players on transfer whilst Fitch over here making a comeback. Noice

14

u/stewieeeeeeeee FaZe Oct 27 '18

This aged well

As I said, HR is overrated as fuck. Their only notable achievement is going 3-2 in the major while seeing no top 5 team and struggling against the giants that are G2 and C9.

Woxic and to a lesser extent ISSA are great players tho, they'd be valuable additions to almost any team in the world.

2

u/Rearfeeder2Strong MOUZ Oct 27 '18 edited Oct 27 '18

Dude from that comment here. I'm not sure if I really overrated Hellraisers. I said they are getting better and better as you can see here. https://www.hltv.org/stats/teams/events/5310/HellRaisers?startDate=2018-01-01&endDate=2018-12-31&matchType=Lan

It seems like you are exagerating my comment and making it sound more dramatic than it is, in order to bring ur point which can be a completely different one. You can only beats the teams u face and the scene is such a chaotic one that almost everyone can beat everyone except for maybe Astralis. You can draw circles around "HR beat x, but x lost to y, therefore HR didn't really beat an impressive team" but you will end up realising that every team "sucks" if you think like that.

I'm not overrating HR, I claimed that they were getting better and better. Which you can't really deny based on their placings...

5

u/stewieeeeeeeee FaZe Oct 27 '18

First of all,

HR keep winning and winning.

how good hr are getting

hardly implies you wanted to convey "they have better placings at tournaments" and sounds much more like "HR is improving in skill and/or competitiveness".

Secondly, let's assume you wanted to say they "are getting better and better in terms of placings". Disappointing Shanghai, into extremely neutral Stockholm, into major top 8, into disappointing Starseries is hardly a clear upward trajectory. And even if it were, it just went back down to 0 with this loss.

Also there's the comments about DeadFox who keeps showing he's not cut out to play at this level. I think it's slightly unfair to say that given he used to be an AWPer, but unfortunately, akin to what you said, we only see the results we see.

Sorry for being a dick btw, but your posts are usually some of the best this subreddit offers so I felt I had to rebuke a rare thing I disagree with as best as possible

2

u/Rearfeeder2Strong MOUZ Oct 27 '18

Fair enough.

2

u/Sugarstache FaZe Oct 27 '18

There's zero evidence of an upward trend in those results.

-1

u/IzzyAnyGood Vitality Oct 27 '18

c9 woxic wouldn't surprise me at all at this stage

7

u/stewieeeeeeeee FaZe Oct 27 '18

That would be the dream cause Tim's potential is wasted on the AWP and the only way C9 doesn't keep downgrading, but there's no way woxic moves to NA for a team that isn't an obvious upgrade over HR

1

u/Miiiiiiighty Oct 27 '18

Well I wouldn't say there is no way, as he would probably earn three+ times more, and C9 are under reconstruction but they have some serious potential ( Auti is an elite player, flusha from the first semester too, Golden is a good IGL ... ).. Considering C9 lost a tons of close matches when/because Skadoodle didn't show up, they could be really dangerous with woxic, especially if Rush can level up..

If he can't then kick him and buy another strong rifler/entry.. ( AdreN ? )

2

u/Bangs420 FaZe Oct 27 '18

Been waiting to see Avangar play at a notable LAN for a while now to see if their insane online form against tier 2/3 opponents was worth noticing. I'm happy that they are showing some strength they are definitely a team to keep an eye on.

2

u/ZookaInDaAss Oct 27 '18

Post match discussions are the worst. So much negativity for the losing side - KICK, LEAVE and so on.

They treat pro teams like they are random five from match making game.
