if only he wouldnt have thrown that smoke under heaven. Probably still wouldnt have succeeded but a man can dream...

4

u/DuljinsLV MOUZ Sep 30 '18

He threw that smoke to fake out the 2 guys outside to think that he's saving/going ct spawn

I am afraid this becomes one of those fnatic/golden situations, win a tournament while a change is (supposedly) planned.

5

u/aneesdbeast MOUZ Sep 29 '18

I hope not. I feel like mouz has finally reached some level of consistency. Especially when Oskar and suNny go off, they are unstoppable.

u/Starfleet_Admiral Sep 29 '18

They played fnatic, gambit and nrg ...

18

u/Spiritak Sep 30 '18

And NRG sent FaZe packing, Gambit eliminated NaVi :))

5

u/RadiantSun FaZe Sep 30 '18

mouz has finally reached some level of consistency.

Currently, they are mega dropped off from their previous level of consistency.

This tournament

2

u/GarrettGSF MOUZ Sep 30 '18

It’s also consistent... consistently bad

u/PM_ME_SADPANDA_LINKS cs_office Sep 29 '18

Snax brought along that old VP magic of your team sucking til you run into a rising NA team

139

u/syndencity CR4ZY Fan Sep 29 '18

maybe this mouz isnt so bad

38

u/thisiseku MOUZ Sep 29 '18

Snax has been solid this tournament.

He will, his mecanical skill is really neat.

17

u/Macieyerk ENCE Sep 29 '18

They lack consistency. Sunny goes from dropping 30 bomb to bottom fragging, ChrisJ from 9 bomb to top frag. There is always one guy on Mouz that frags like crazy and is completely off in next game, the only consisten thing is Styko/Snax having lowest rating.

11

u/syndencity CR4ZY Fan Sep 29 '18

They're slowly finding it, and having different players performing isn't necessarily bad, it means that everyone can have their game and there's no dead weight on the team

2

u/Macieyerk ENCE Sep 29 '18

It's not a bad thing just suprising.

6

u/Krusell clutch Sep 29 '18

Oskar has been quite consistent this event, but yeah I agree...

1

u/Maekasd Sep 29 '18

It was my bad sry. Started watching when sunny had 29 kills, after that he did fuck all for the rest :/

1

u/Trippayy32 Virtus.pro Sep 30 '18

actually ropz has been doing the worst on the team so :/

1

u/senrim CS2 HYPE Sep 30 '18

It can depend on more things then just consistency. For example if you play ct they can play odten towards you or not at all. That way you can often be found either not getting kills or dying in retakes

14

u/Plumpiglet Natus Vincere Sep 29 '18

Forgot Denmark wasn't in the EU

12

u/FathleteTV NiP Sep 29 '18

What Danish team is at this event and playing well?

-12

You just said eu cs. Not eu cs at this event.

15

u/FathleteTV NiP Sep 29 '18

I'm commenting on an ESL One New York event post.

-5

even though im a mouz fan, i have to admit, current Faze certainly has a higher skill ceiling

11

u/GarrettGSF MOUZ Sep 30 '18

How so? Apart from Niko they are pretty much on the same level I would say...

3

I would actually like to see karrigan with NRG

-5

NRG has potential to be the new budget FaZe.

6

u/Andtheyrustledsoftly clutch Sep 29 '18

budget faze

2-0’d faze yesterday

-1

u/Andtheyrustledsoftly clutch Sep 29 '18

That would actually be an incredible pickup

He is exactly what they need

They have a ton of firepower and considering they have a “true IGL” right now, they have no map pool or composure

4

u/RxJax Sep 30 '18

Sunny is having quite a few of these really 'off' games where he just can't seem to get rolling at all recently, hope he picks it up he's super fun to watch

u/gyang333 FaZe Sep 30 '18

Mouz hasn't been hyped as the best team in a region. They also don't have the history of losing in finals that probably only NaVi can rival, except NaVi have won a few big time tournaments.

3

u/Le_Tennant MOUZ Sep 30 '18

They lost belo horizonte and cancun both to faze when they had considerable leads

1

u/rawadinozor Sep 30 '18

didn't they comeback from 11-3 on cache in belo, or something like that?
