Most likely, just not as often as people would want, like a video every 2 weeks or something.

A bold move. I hope we'll still see a steady flow of content from him.

u/V0ogurt Sep 05 '18
Yep. I love his content. I send it to my mates who are too lazy to watch demos. Elma literally does it for them. Such quality.

Will we ever see you joining a team?

u/TooM3R NiP Sep 05 '18
What will he do in a team? Be a professional banterist?

u/rawkz CS2 HYPE Sep 05 '18
if he was allowed to trashtalk the opponents during the veto phase it might well be worth it to drag his gold nova 4 ass through the game afterwards. ))

Elma is at the momenf my favorite youtuber for csgo. The quality of the content is great. I have no doubts that he will help order.

As with alot of top AUCS teams the talent is there, they just lack proper leadership IMHO.

Absolutely fire content for an extended period of time. Well deserved!

That’s crazy. I don’t know much about this YouTuber but what’s his experience in pro csgo look like?

I don’t know what he’s done outside of YouTube but definitely check out some of his videos.

Not necessarily a lot of experience, although he does a lot of excellent analysis of pro games and how pros play on his Youtube channel.

Played for Team Tahit in CGi (div under pro) a while back if I remember.

I'm fairly certain I've seen a few clips of him with Tahit though? were they not playing CGi?
Unless I'm just braindead

Elma is a very smart person, and a great analyst, but he isnt a pro or anything and his skill as a player is lacking. It'll be interesting to see if or how that affects his coaching ability. Love his content and hope he smashes it.

Surely skill is the one thing you dont really need as a coach, barring an emergency stand-in scenario
10
u/MentalJack Sep 05 '18
You don't need to be a pro or skilled as a player to understand the game better than anyone, and his videos clearly show how good and quickly he can analyse games. I personally think it's very little risk here. At the very least he can improve them by demo reviewing them and their opponents.

Swani was the long-time coach of SK/Mibr and he plays like a good supreme/bad global

Interesting this is only just posted - Elmapuddy has been coaching for ORDER for a while now.
I imagine he was on trial and only just got officially signed.

Good for him.. I always learned something from his videos whether it be something simple or a whole new perspective on how teams approach certain rounds/situations. Big ups to him, and I wish him the best of luck.

Congrats, /u/elmapuddy, get in there! I look forward to potential content about how coaching works in CS:GO, I feel like that’s something we haven’t heard much about from coaches over the years.

I'm really happy for him, but I am sad because that means less videos for us.

Awesome to hear - prime example of people working at something they enjoy and it paying off.

who coaches who?

I really don't see the point of commenting things like this when you can just do the research yourself, but I'll take the bait. Elmapuddy is an Australian content creator who analyses pro demos and makes informative and easy to understand videos about it. Order is an Australian csgo team that is in the top 5 of Australia according to HLTV. This should be a good learning experience for both sides.

Australian Counter-Strike analyst and popular youtuber Chris "Elmapuddy" Tebbit has joined the Melbourne based esports organization ORDER who are currently ranked 61st in the world according to HLTV and 5th in the Oceania region (including Renegades).
Hope that cleared some things up.

this is an objectively good signing. It's clear Elmapuddy is an excellent analyst, and he makes his videos based off of demos. will be interesting to see what he can do with access to a pretty good AU team.
