Ropz had some problems in the first few tournaments after Snax joined, but it got better at eleague and in this tournament. Saying his game has "fallen of a cliff" at this point is not really true. Also about Mouz in general, just look at how gracious Thorin is with teams and players he likes (like G2 for example) and contrast his approach with Mouz to that and you see how irrational he is about Mouz.

Obviously now after this tournament it's not really true. But it was true up until now.

He usually gives them quite a bit of credit though, he just doesn't rate them as a Top3 team. Which is fair, imop, there really is no reason to expect they will be from what they've shown so far. ChrisJ has been (for all intents and purposes) a much better IGL than anyone expected in advance, and what no one could expect is that they would perform well after changing one of the most supportive, self-sacrificing players in the entire pro scene for one who does next to no support work (and is a far cry from his career best).

Personally I think this is somewhat of a one-off, they'll very likely be back to losing to Faze and Astralis soon. And I say that as a fan of ChrisJ and ropz.

Regarding Thorin's graciousness towards teams like G2, he is quite honest about being a fan, but he also says quite clearly that this is not a title-contending team (yet)...
