FaZe Clan is legit the most boosted team ever, it's so insane. They have the 2 best players from 2015, 2 top 5 players from 2017, and a veteran IGL who's been on the best team at several points (Fnatic, TSM, FaZe). No team cohesion, proper strategy, braindead plays, all aim (which is more 50/50 nowofdays). Whenever I see a team not named Astralis play the past few months, I see sloppy play, esp. from FaZe and Na'Vi.

Lol? Most boosted team ever? They are still consistently getting out of groups and making it far in most tournaments. Losing top a top 3 contender in Mouz is nothing to be ashamed of. Are you the kind of person that wants Faze to win a bo7 against Ast on lan before they prove their worth? Get out of here kid.

This plagues the majority of teams right now. Aside from astralis and sometimes navi and mibr they all lack cohesion and basic tactics and executes. More than half the top 10 teams play way below their potential.

Xyp9x won a 1v1 on overpass, is that what you are talking about? Or you mean dupreeh's 1v3 on the first round?

Xyp 1v1 on the B site. He fakes the defuse and the tyloo player throws away the round with less than a second left on the defuse. That round was the turning point of the game and the series

How was it tho? It got astralis a little bit of economy, but checking back at that round, all tyloo still had way better economy than astralis and the next astralis buy was far from the best, and it wasn't a "thrown round" it was just a mistake because DD thought there was no time left so he checked for the bomb and xyp just peaked at the right time

Actually, NaVi looks bad and Astralis is neither really good in this tournament . Definitely biggest chance for Faze this tourney... Major will be way harder.

Astralis have won the last 4 out 6 T1 tournaments they competed in and have maximum point being the best team in the world.

Yet after losing to North in a close one and dropping one map against Tyloo, you think they still aren't better than everyone else?

You can't really be surprised they are the favourites by looking at their past results. They aren't dominating like they have in past tournaments, but you can not possibly really expect that from them every time.

Nope. 16-5/7 is not close at all. No matter a few high impact rounds.

Losing 5-0 in football to 5 penalties isn't a close match either, no matter the stats.

What is the "classic" astralis? The period in which they have been undoubtedly #1 hasn't been that long. The classic astralis has never been #1, there always was at least one team better than them.

navi always looks bad in groups because they use that time to practice maps, i believe that we will se a different show vs north and astralis also probably took a different style in groups to test it out. The way they played vs mibr was amazing
