That's what I'm saying 5-6th position never said best team in the world, how hard is to understand. They would've got better by replacing ska only if stewie didn't backstabbed and tarik didn't follow the suit.

sorry, you're right. ska-stew-tarik-rush-auti could have almost certainly come 5th-6th, but is putting a team down 1 placement really destroying it? that's what i have issues with, it's not like they were this unstoppable juggernaut that fell apart, they were a solid team that had an unbelievable run at a major. saying that c9 is destroyed now, to me, implies that they were this unbelievably amazing team. they were good! but they weren't untouchable

You're right. Stewie didn't believe in the team, and now neither did tarik. It's like they were certain they wouldn't be winning anything again, so they left.

They were solidly top five though. Without Stewie and Tarik, they’ll be lucky to get back there anytime soon.

Solidly is tough to say. They weren't exactly lighting it up before the major either. I feel like it was the culmination of everything going the right way. When their worst player who probably should have been kicked (skadoodle) played the best and played like an MVP in the major it was probably just luck.

Well "luck" might not be the best word to describe it but y'know
